He wanted to fall asleep, but couldn't. Despite a comfortable bed and a room full of darkness and silence, he could not calm down, thoughts like. What if this killer gets me? What if he gets Tara? Chada, Sam, etc. They assailed his mind incessantly. So when his phone rang, and he saw that it was Tara he didn't even waste time and started preparing to leave just in case. And he was right.

From Tara's phone call, Sam asks him to come over, saying that Ghostface was trying to kill her. Taking his keys to the car, which came back from the mechanic, he left the house, fortunately, his father was not present, and he assumes this will be the case for a long time.

He got out quickly and headed to the hospital, crossing the hall to Tara's room. In the room were Tara, Sam, Amber and Richie, and a policewoman he knew. His entrance drew their attention. Amber angrily walked up to Y/N and pushed him. "What are you doing here? You show up again after that murderer attacks."

Y/N pushed her away. "Shut your mouth, you moron. Sam called me herself." Y/N walked past Amber, approaching Sam. "Are you okay? He didn't do anything to you?"

Sam shook her head. "Fortunately, no."

Y/N turned to his girlfriend, on her face obvious fear, and anxiety. But as if at the mere sight of him, a smile showed on her angelic face. He approached her, sitting down on the bed with her. "You're fine, right?" He took her hands in his, and she nodded.

"I'm fine, thanks for coming." Y/N hugged her stroking her back. And she returned it.

"I'm sorry I went then, but-"

"You don't have to say, I understand." They ceased their hug. And while most looked on with smiles on their faces, Amber had a blank, expressionless look on her face.

"Y/N." The policewoman approached.

"Yes, Ms. Hicks?"

"You could come out with me for a moment," she said.

Y/N momentarily understood. "Am I the only suspect?"

"It's not like that, I just have to check everyone who's close."

Tara scoffed. "He was attacked and you suspect him anyway..."

Y/N kissed her forehead smiling at her. "Don't worry, it's formality. I'll be right there." She merely nodded not quite convinced.

And so they left. Standing in the corridor, the policewoman took out a notebook. And began her little interrogation. "So Y/N, as I know who your father is I don't suspect you one bit. But this is a formality, I need to know. Where were you at the time of the attack on Sam?"

"At home, I was trying to sleep." Y/N leaned against the windowsill.

"Is there anyone who can confirm this? Dad can?"

Y/N shook his head. "He wasn't home, you may know. You work at the same station."

"No, I have no idea. He finished earlier today... Have you noticed any suspicious activity in your area? Strange people, cars, did you feel you were being watched?"

"None of these things, as you can see I'm not the target, I just suffered as a side character in a way."

"Well. Don't leave town until the investigation is over."

"So I'm a suspect?"

"And do you have proof that you were in the house? Cameras? Neighbors?"

Y/N shook his head. "No."
