Lies

 The rain fell heavily, lightening lit up the sky, as thunder echoed across the night sky. He lay in bed tossing and turning, but it wasn't the storm that was making him restless, it was his guilt. Giving up on sleep he got up and quietly went to the main part of the hotel room, and sat on the couch. There was no denying it, Special Agent Roman Reigns felt torn! The reason for his guilt; he was living a double life and lying to his partner and best friend...brother Special Agent Seth Rollins. Roman's life hadn't always been this complicated, in fact before they took the case they were on now; helping the local police bring down one of the most powerful, ruthless and violent Crime Family's in the world The Authority, Roman lived a fairly boring life. Now his life was as far from boring as it could get, all because of one man; the man he had fallen completely and totally in love with Dean Ambrose! Dean wasn't just any guy though, he was The Authority's top guy, and Seth hated Dean as much as Dean hated Seth! Seth never liked Roman and Dean's relationship from the start, and tried to get Roman to realize it would never work, Dean would only use him and then throw him away breaking Roman's heart.

Roman refused to let Seth come between Dean and himself, and had even convinced Dean to turn on The Authority and go undercover for them. No matter what Dean did though, it was never good enough for Seth; and when the deal Dean had told them about went bad and he disappeared for a week with no contact Seth thought he had been proven right! He wasn't though, Roman had learned the truth from Dean. That had been almost a month ago, and Roman was still with Dean, sneaking away to their secret spot; a small, run-down, forgotten hotel, whenever Dean contacted him. While Seth continued his quest to bring The Authority; including Dean down. As that last thought came to him his phone went off signalling he had a new text message, he picked it up off the table and smiled seeing it was Dean.

  D- Hey gorgeous, sorry it took me a couple of days to contact you!
  R- It's okay babe, you'll just have to make it up to me!
  D- Don't I always baby boy?
  R- Yeah, you do!
  D- I've missed you baby boy!
  R- I've missed you too! Can we meet?
  D- I'm already waiting, can you get away?
  R- I'm leaving now! See you soon, love you!
  D- Love you too! Hurry!

After ending the conversation, Roman quickly erased the messages, before he got up, put his shoes on, grabbed his keys and left. He knew what they were doing was risky, but he didn't care, he loved Dean and if that was wrong, then he didn't want to be right!

**A Week Later**:

The days continued to pass, Dean also lived a double life, when he wasn't with Roman, he was with The Authority; the only family he's ever had that cared about him. Like Roman, Dean had been happy with his life before they met; he was feared and respected by many and he loved it! Being in love wasn't only new and scary for Dean; he had never loved anyone before, but it also changed him in ways he thought he'd never feel! Roman made him want to be a better person, he showed Dean that good still existed in the world. Dean wanted so badly to be someone Roman could be proud of, even if that meant helping to bring down his family; truthfully the only one he cared about was Paige. From the first day Paige came into the family Dean had taken her under his wing, she was like a baby sister to him and he'd do anything to keep her safe!

Tired of his life with his family, he began giving Roman info on any Authority plans he could, then Roman would take that info and do what he does best and stop The Authority. Every time Roman put an end to an Authority plan, Dean had to force himself not to laugh at their reactions. Dean couldn't wait for this whole thing to be over so he could finally begin his new life with the man he loved. He was so tired of it that every time they were together Dean would try and talk Roman into letting him do the right thing and turn himself in, but Roman always refused not wanting to lose Dean.

**With Roman**:

Roman arrived at the station, he had a new lead on a shipment of drugs The Authority had leaving town, Dean had given him the info the night before. He walked into their makeshift office and found Seth going over the case files, seeing him Seth knew what he was going to say.

 "Let me guess...you got another Authority lead?" Seth asked.

 "Yep!" Roman answered smiling.

"What is it this time?"

"They've got a huge shipment of drugs heading out today on a plane going to New York!" Roman answered.

"Isn't that a little risky with all the security checks?" Seth questioned.

"Not when you have security on your pay roll! No leads on who they are yet, but I've got everything else! Let's go put an end to another Authority plan!"

"Ro, we need to talk!" Seth said seriously.

"Can't it wait? The plane leaves soon!"

"Fine, we'll talk on the way!" Seth agreed.

10 minutes later with back up behind them, they raced to the airport, Seth drove while Roman filled their back up in on what was going on. When he was done Seth spoke, he needed to know the truth!

"Ro, this is the fifth Authority plan we've stopped!"

"And? I thought you'd be happy? This is what we've wanted since we took this case!"

"I' am happy Rome, but how do you suddenly know about all these plans? A month ago we had nothing, and now every other damn day you're coming up with a new Authority plan for us to stop! Are...are you talking to Ambrose again?"

"Not this again Seth!"

"Yes, this again! Dammit Ro, what's going on?"

"You want the truth, here it is! No Seth, I'm not talking to Dean! When are you going to let that go? I haven't spoken or seen since he came to our room!"

"Then how do you know these things Ro?" Seth demanded, he wanted to believe Roman, but something felt wrong!

"I've been getting phone calls every time The Authority is going to do something!" Roman answered lying.

"Your Secret Informant could be Ambrose!"

"I doubt that Two-Tones!"

"Why?"

"I know his voice, I could never forget it! So, unless Dean became a woman, it's definately not him!" Roman said smiling.

"Oh." Seth said, as he smiled too.

 "Seth, look I know I did stupid shit to you in the past, but you need to trust me and stop thinking I'm going to do it again! I've learned from my mistakes Seth, and I promise nothing is going on!" Roman said gently, hoping he'd back off.

"You're right Ro, I'm sorry! I just don't want anything to happen to you, that's all."

"I know Seth, just trust me okay?"

"Okay." Seth answered. "We're almost there, you ready to piss off The Authority some more partner?"

"Always!" Roman answered, as they both laughed.
