After leaving the warehouse Dean decided to grab dinner and surprise Roman; it had been awhile since they had been able to spend an entire night together. After stopping at Roman's favourite resturant and getting their food, Dean stopped a liquor store. Tonight was a special night, so he grabbed some champagne; since he hated the stuff, he grabbed some beer for later to wash the taste out of his mouth secretly. On his way back to his car he spotted a jewelry store and decided to check it out for the hell of it!

He put the bags in the car, before going into the store. He wanted to get Roman something to show how devoted Dean was to him, but he wasn't ready to propose yet, so he had no idea what the hell to get him. He wandered around completely lost, when suddenly he heard a female voice speak from behind him. He turned around to find a beautiful, blond woman standing so close to him, that they were now pressed against each other. It was so obvious that she wanted Dean, and if he hadn't been in love with Roman, he would have taken her right there on the counter. He looked at her name tag, before smiling he backed up a little putting some distance between them as he spoke.

"Could you help me find what I'm looking for Kari?" He asked.

"I'd love to help you with whatever you need!" She replied openly flirting with him. "What's your name?"

"Dean."

"Dean huh? Like James Dean?" She asked looking him up and down.

"Something like that." He answered smiling.

"Well, Dean do you see anything you like?" She asked still flirting.

"Uh, actually I do, but I have no idea what I'm doing! This is my first time!" Dean answered.

"Really? So, you're a..."

"Whoa, wait hang on! You've got the wrong idea Kari, I was talking about the jewelry!" Dean said cutting her off.

"Oh...well, does that mean you're an expert in other areas?" She asked still flirting with him.

"Wouldn't you like to know?" Dean replied smirking.

"Oh yeah! Maybe you could show me?" She asked, as she pressed her body against Dean's again.

"I could, but I don't think my boyfriend would appreciate me cheating on him?" Dean answered.

"Oh, so you're..."

"Happily taken? Yeah!" Dean said cutting her off. "So, Kari about that help?"

"Of course sir, what were you thinking?" She asked pulling away from him, as she became professional.

"Well, I want to get him something to prove I'm completely his, but I'm not ready to propose! Got any suggestions?"

"How about a matching set of promise rings?" She suggested.

"Promise rings huh? What kind do you got?" Dean asked smiling.

A half hour later Dean had bought a matching set of silver promise rings. He left the store and got into his car, he drove to their usual hotel room and after unloading the car he sat on the bed and texted Roman.

D- Hey gorgeous, guess who got away for the entire night?
R- Seriously?
D- Care to join me?
R- I'm at work for another half hour, can I meet you in an hour?
D- That's actually perfect!
R- What? Why?
D- You'll see when you get here! I love you baby boy!
R- I love you too, see you soon.

After ending the conversation Dean quickly got to work setting up his romantic night for Roman. He hoped it turned out okay, he had never done this kind of thing before, truthfully he had never cared enough about anyone to do this! Roman was different though, Roman brought out a side of Dean he didn't even know he had!

As he put the final touches on their night, a knock came to the door. Smiling he answered it to find Roman standing there holding his bag. Dean moved out of the way to let Roman come inside, before he shut and locked the door behind them.

"What is all this?" Roman asked smiling, as looked around and saw the candlelit dinner.

"I did this for two reasons." Dean answered smiling, as he took Roman's bag from him and put it on the bed. "The first, is to make up for not being able to see you at all this week." Dean said kissing Roman.

"And the second?" Roman asked, as Dean began kissing his neck.

"Cause I wanted too!" Dean replied smiling. "Come on let's eat!"

After dinner, a bubble bath for two, and making love they lay on the bed together talking. Dean was excited and nervous about the rings, not sure what Roman's reaction would be. He knew if he didn't do it now though, he'd lose all his courage, he didn't know why he was so nervous, he wasn't proposing!

"Close your eyes!" Dean said smiling.

"What?" Roman asked confused.

"Just close your eyes, I have a surprise for you." Dean said, before he kissed him.

"Okay." Roman agreed sitting up, before he closed his eyes, he felt Dean move.

"Okay, open them!" Dean said, Roman did and saw Dean sitting in front of him, a smile on his gorgeous face, as held a ring box, suddenly Roman couldn't breathe.

"What...what is that?" Roman asked quietly.

"It's something to show you how much I love you! Open it!" Dean said holding the box out to him, Roman's heart began beating fast, as he took the box and opened it.

"Ro, I love you more than anything in this world! This ring," Dean said, as he took one of the rings out. "Is my promise to you, that I will marry you when the time is right!" He said with tears in his eyes, as he put the ring on Roman's finger. "You are my happily ever after!" Dean looked at Roman, he hadn't said a word or even looked at Dean, his eyes never left the rings. "Ro, are you okay? You haven't said a word...I screwed up didn't I? Dammit, I always..." Dean was cut off by Roman kissing him.

"You didn't screw up Dean! I love them, and I love you!" Roman said tears in his eyes, as he kissed Dean again, before he took the other ring out and put it on Dean's finger. "Thank you Dean. I love you."

"I love you so much baby boy!" Dean said smiling, as he kissed Roman.
