You sat on your knees in front of master Ubuyashiki, the calm man letting out a chuckle at your excitement.
"So, Tamayo really told you about me? She knows I'm here?" You leaned forward a little, practically quivering from happiness. "How is she doing?"
You couldn't hold back the flow of words from your mouth, far too elated to finally be hearing word about your previous caregiver.
"Tamayo and I only conversed through letters, but from what she's told me, she's safe and somewhere in hiding." The dark haired alpha raised his cup of tea to his lips with the guidance of one of his children, taking a small sip and letting out a hum. "A large section of her most recent letter was about you. Once she learned that I had you in my care, she expressed her desire to pay a visit sometime in the future."
Warmth swelled in your chest at the words spoken by the man and a soft grin spread across your lips.
You still felt a little guilty for leaving her and Yushiro in the way that you did. Though, you always had to remind yourself that you had done it to get Kibutsuji off their tail since the man was after both you and Tanjiro.
"So," Ubuyashiki broke the comfortable silence that had briefly fell over the two of you, his blank hues focused in your general direction; "tell me about your healing powers I've been hearing rumours of."
