Florence POV

"What if we fall and die?" Jules asks, concern written all over his face.

"We won't, amore. The pilot knows what to do so nothing will happen." I reassure him with a smile.

"What if the pilot dies? We don't know how to drive a plane," he says, clearly starting to panic at the thought of his first flight.

"Fly," Charles says as he looks at Jules through the car's mirror.

I scrunch my eyebrows in his direction.

"He said drive, but the pilot flies a plane. There's no driving." Charles clarifies.

I give him a side eye, letting him know that this wasn't the time to be criticizing a 5-year-old when he's clearly just expressing his fear.

"What?" he says in response to my stare while shrugging his shoulders. "I'm just saying."

I roll my eyes as I turn in my seat to face Jules, who's in the back.

"Amore," I say as I look him in the eyes with a reassuring smile "I promise you that the pilot knows what he's doing and nothing bad will happen."

He looks at me, worries written all over his face "Promise?"

I let out a small laugh at his question and turn back in my seat.

"I promise."

We are currently on our way to the airline port to head back home. I hadn't realized that Charles was also coming with us but I guess after we land in Italy, they have to refuel the plane and he leaves straight to England to meet the team for this weekend's race at Silverstone.

"How long does it take?" Jules asks behind me. He's now looking out the window as the airport comes into view and we watches a plane take off from the tarmac.

"About 3 hours, mate." Charles cuts in as he looks at Jules through the car mirror again. "But I promise you that once we get on the plane, you"ll have a blast."

He gives Jules a smile before turning into a car garage.

I'm a bit lost as to what and where we're supposed to go after this because Charles told me that since it's a private aircraft, we don't go through the regular airport and that theirs a private area where we go through.

Honestly though, I'm kind of excited to fly on a private plane. I had asked Chalres if we could stop by a store before coming here so I could pack some snacks for Jules, but he said that the plane already had food and that it was free. I'm sure it's not actually free but he just doesn't have to pay for it up front. He also said that there was a bathroom with a shower inside of it, which I didn't even know a plane could have. And before we left, Jules said he was still tired from waking up early, and Chalres casually mentioned that he could continue sleeping on the plane and that he could sleep in the Master bed.

A whole fucking bed. On a plane. What the fuck.

At this point, my brain is just picturing a house with wings on it.

"Alright," he says as he parks the car and turns the engine off. "Let's go, shall we?"

He looks at Jules through the mirror again. "Want to help me get the bags out of the back?"

Jules nods his head and we get out of the car.

"What if the pilot doesn't know where to go?" Jules asks as we walk through a tunnel towards the airport.

"He does, he has a map that he follows?" Charles answers as we continue to walk.

"What if he takes us to the wrong airport?"
