"Arhtur, shut the fuck up!" I shout as I clench the phone in my hand at the sound of her voice mail and I contemplate throwing it at the wall.

"Why won't you just tell me brother?" he says while tossing a rolled up pair of socks in the air and then catching it again. He's sitting comfortably on the couch, completely unbothered.

"Because it's none of your fucking business, mate." I state the obvious.

"But why wont you just tell me? You were clearly mad at her last night." he says as he trows the sock ball up in the air again and I cant help but let out a frustrated sigh.

He's been nagging me about what happened between my mum and I last night but just thinking of her makes me angry.

"Look mate," I start " I promise I'll tell you but I just have to figure some things before then, ok?"

He stares at me for a few moments and I think he's finally going to drop the conversations but then he opens his mouth.

"But I just don't unders-"

"Oh for fuck sakes!" I groan in anoyance at the little shit of a brother I have.

I pick up my keys and walk towards the door.

"No no no, wait brother," He says as he gets up from the couch.

"I'll be back for the dinner tonight." Is all I say before walking out of the room and closing the door.

"Come on Flo, pick up," I whisper to myself as hear the phone ring for what feels like the millionth time today.

I have been trying to get a hold of her for the last hour but every time I call, it goes straight to voice mail.

Part of me knows that she is probably just busy, but I can't stop the thought in the back of my head thinking that there is something extremely wrong. Becuase I can't think of any other logical explanation as to why she wouldn't be picking up the phone.

Something has to be wrong.

"Mate," I hear a voice behind me and turn to see that its Pierre.

"Hey," I say defeated when I hear Florences voicemail in my ear. I hand up and put my phone away, officially giving up for the night.

"What's up with you? You look like shit." He says as he sits on the bar stool next to me. When I left Arthur in my room, I remembered that I'm not allowed to leave the hotel tonight because of a swarm of paparazzi outside so I just came to the bar instead.

After ignoring his first question he talks again.

"Florence?"

I raise my eyebrows at her name to let him know he's right and I reach for my glass and take a drink.

"That bad huh?" he says as he calls the bartender over.

"You could say that." I say as I finish the glass in my hand.

"What can I get you?" the bartender asks with a smile.

"Gin and tonic, please." Pierre answers with a smile. He looks over at me and then back at the bartender "make that 2."

"Thanks," I say with a sigh.

The bartender places our drinks on the table then walks away to go serve a couple across the table.

"So what's her deal?" Pierre says as he takes a drink. I do the same and sigh at the thought.

"Nothing. Everything. So much is happening yet nothing at all is going on." I say before taking anoth drink.
