~the next day~

I woke up to the next day to the feeling of the warm sunlight shining on my face and I instantly used my hand to cover my eyes as I slowly sat up straight still adjusting to the bright awakening. When my eyes became clear I turned my head to the side to see a still sleeping Wyatt next to me

'Cutie' I thought looking at him before turned my head back to the balcony which was where the light was coming from. I decided to get out of bed careful not to wake Wyatt as I made my way towards the balcony and opened the sliding door

When I walked outside my ears were immediately filled with birds carping and the wind wrestling through the trees from the forbidden forest not so far away, it was honestly quite nice and peaceful as I closed my eyes taking it all in

However just then I suddenly felt a strong burning sensation in my throat as I started coughing and my eyes turned green while I helding on the balcony railing for support. I coughed for about 2 minutes before I eventually calmed down then I looked down at my moonstone worriedly as I saw a small green glow coming from it

'That's weird, I thought moonstones are meant to last a 100 years' I thought confused but was interrupting when I felt a set of arms wrapped around me and I started to tense up "morning pup" a familiar voice said which made me instantly relaxed knowing who it was

"Morning Wyatt" I said as I turned to face him "everything okay?" Wyatt asked "y..yeah why would it be?" I asked with a nervous smile as Wyatt just stared at me for what felt like eternity "just making sure, after all it is family day today" Wyatt said

"Oh right, um... I'm okay Wyatt thanks" I said relieved to know he hadn't saw what just happened. Wyatt smiled at me as we walked back into our room and he went over to the walk in closet to get out his clothes for the day while I went to my bed to sit and grab my lens from my desk checking my vitals but was surprised to see everything was normal

"Had Zed told you when his going to make his move yet?" Wyatt asked walking out of the closet and I quickly lifted my head to look at him turning my lens around so that he won't see what I was lookin at "uh yeah, I think he said during the middle of the party" I replied

"I can't believe his finally going to propose. I mean how long has it been now, 8 years?" Wyatt said sitting next to me "I know. Addison has really been rambling about how long is it going to take for him to final ask her" I said and Wyatt chuckled remembering me telling him the long conversation of Addison talking about when will Zed purpose to her.

After all 8 years is a really long time and Zed had asked my parents and I 3 months ago for her hand in marriage. I was honestly glad Zed asked finally asked us as he was already like a brother to me plus it was about time Addison got her own happy ending too

Wyatt eyes then went over at my desk seeing a photo of us on our wedding day as we kissing at the isle and he smiled looking it "you know, it feels just like yesterday I marked up the courage purposed to you" Wyatt said and I turned to stare at the picture too "and that was the day I made the best decision of my life" I said as Wyatt turned to look at me before kissed my forehead

"Well I better go wake up the little one and start breakfast" Wyatt said standing up and I nodded as he then walked out to the room. Meanwhile I looked at my lens one more time after making sure he was out of sight, seeing all the normal results while thinking of one thing

'What is going on?'
