Welcome to my first ever poetry collection! I have never considered myself very skilled in writing poetry. In fact, I used to think that I was bad at it. But because I love to write music, I was drawn to lyric writing, recently delving into poetry.
I have felt overcome with emotions as of late, and so I decided—very impulsively—to make all of those emotions public through this book.
The title of this book, "Castles of Roses," is inspired by the poem "My Heart on my Sleeve" by Danny The Dreamer Boyd on poemhunter.com. I highly recommend that you read it; I found it to be very relatable, and it even inspired this book!
Thank you for taking the time to read my poetry. Remember that constructive criticism is always welcome—and encouraged in this book!
And enjoy!
