I've built you a castle of roses
With a throne so grand
That even as my heart composes,
My body can no longer stand.A peasant in your presence,
A servant by your side;
Your soul radiates a perfect essence
As above me, you presideFor me, you care,
For me, you are kind;
But this care that you bear
Is unmatched by mineMy hands bleed and ache,
Pricked and scarred,
But another castle I would make
If you offered up your heart.September 17th, 2023
