Chapter 26 - The Visit

Aaron's POV

"Excuse me, sorry deh."

I opened my eyes only to see Tony coming down the aisle of first class.

"I thought the flight was going to leave you," Briah said to him.

"You told him to come?" I asked her.

"Yes, we have some work to do and I decided to book him a flight at your expense of course since we are still working" she replied.

"I thought you said I needed to relax."

"You do but we still have work to do since you didn't cancel anything like I told you to" she said.

"Mi seh airport people can frownzy yuh see man, look pon the hours a evening a dem nasty people yah smell bad. Sir fix yuh food s=dem please" Tony said as he took an empty seat across from us.

"Why is he here again?" I asked.

"I just told you plus he is your publicist and he should travel with you at all times and remember he is filing in as your stylist, be grateful." she said.

"He just wanted a trip to see Pinny," I said.

"Say it out loud so he can hear you," Briah said.

"It's ok, I am going to close my eyes and get some sleep," I said.

Pinny's POV

"Look how she sweet man," Gradman gushed.

"Sweet but miserable, you need to make her sleep now so she can wake up and go back to sleep tonight." I said.

"Tell her to leave you alone, make you bond with your granny," she said to Star.

"Well you will have to keep her with you tonight so I can get some rest," I said.

"Nuh worry me will keep her and if she make any noise a mi head, me just drop me old titty inna har mouth, she never make another sound fi the rest of her life"

I burst out laughing.

"You know what? Keep her, I am going to get some sleep because I know for sure I will be up later with her." I said.

"That you must do and leave me and my granny one alone."

"That's the only one you will be getting," I teased her.

She looks up from Star, "yuh see how yuh batty fat and yuh round up? Wait till missa man hold you again, you will know" she said.

"Grandma!"

Sometimes I can't believe the things that come out of this woman's mouth.

"Hmmm... Star, see how yuh make mommy roundup like baker bulla? Wait till yuh daddy buck har. Yuh not calling the man Pinny?"

She slipped that in so neatly.

"I am not calling him, I am very sure he knows by now that he is a father since you've called his mother and told her" I said.

"I don't know what is wrong with you young people. Me coulda have my husband come here and me run him?"

She was about to start talking about Aaaron and I again and I didn't want to hear about it.

"Grandma I am going to sleep, you and Star can chat me when I'm gone."

Star was in good hands, plus I really needed to get some sleep because she kept me up most of the night. I could hear now Tony now "Man yuh want baby yuh get"

I got into the bed, closed my eyes and allowed my mind to wonder a little. I could not fall asleep right away so I opened my phone and checked Aaron's Instagram page.
