"Even though, I know you'd rather be in here with anyone else.""Not Exactly."
"Are you even paying attention?" Lane questioned the woman across from him who was slouched in her office chair.
Letty listened patiently as Lane continued to rant, her exhaustion from the long day evident in the lines that creased her forehead. Lane's words seemed to flow in an unending stream, jumping from one topic to another, leaving Letty feeling like she was caught in a whirlwind of thoughts.
She tried to interject at one point, "Lane, I appreciate that you want to talk, but I'm not a therapist. I'm a nurse practitioner, and I'm here to help with medical issues."
Lane paused for a moment, his brow furrowing as he considered her words. Then he chuckled and said, "Well, if you're Jalen's nurse, you can be my therapist. You know, a two-for-one deal."
Letty couldn't help but smile at his attempt to lighten the mood. She realized that sometimes people just needed someone to talk to, even if it wasn't her area of expertise. With a sigh, she said, "Ight, fuck it, spill it. What's been bothering you lately?"

As the weeks rolled on, the anticipation in the air grew thicker. Preseason was just around the corner, and Letty found herself busier than ever. Her role as a nurse practitioner for the Philadelphia Eagles had proven to be demanding, especially with the team gearing up for the regular season.
Each day brought new challenges and responsibilities. She worked closely with the players, ensuring they were in top physical condition and nursing them back to health when injuries occurred. Her dedication to her job was unwavering, and she was gaining the trust and respect of both the players and the coaching staff.
She formed strong connections with several key players on the team, all being for different reasons, including contrasting bonds with all of them.
Letty's friendship with Lane Johnson and Jason Kelce indeed had overprotective big brother vibes.
Lane Johnson, the star offensive tackle of the Philadelphia Eagles, was like the protective older brother who always had Letty's back. On and off the field, he watched out for her safety and well-being. Lane's larger-than-life personality often led to playful banter, but when it came to her comfort and security, he was unwavering.
Lane enjoyed teasing Letty, but it was all in good fun. He liked to crack jokes about her getting in most of the players asses on how to stay healthy , but these light-hearted moments created an atmosphere of camaraderie.
Jason Kelce, the veteran center and respected leader, took on the role of mentor. He provided guidance and advice to Letty, helping her navigate the complexities of the NFL environment, Jason was always ready to offer wisdom from his years in the league. He advised Letty on how to manage the demands of her job and encouraged her to remain focused on her goals.
Jason saw Letty as part of the Eagles family. He made sure that the players respected her role and never hesitated to intervene if someone overstepped boundaries.
Letty's friendship with Darius Slay, the charismatic cornerback of the Philadelphia Eagles, was a lighthearted and fun-filled bond that brought humor to the team's dynamic. Whenever the team faced stressful situations, Letty and Slay's humor provided much-needed comic relief. Their witty one-liners and humorous anecdotes lightened the mood, keeping everyone smiling.
