I was almost ripping my hair out. I had lost Max, maybe forever. Dr. Martinez was going to travel around the world looking for her, and Angel had won the argument to go with her. Gazzy and Nudge had dropped out of school (no matter how hard I protested) and were flying around the neighboring towns, looking for Max. Iggy was panicked, with Ella working to calm him. I had called all our jobs, letting them know that we wouldn't be able to work for a while.
I sat up, ready to fly and look for Max again. I wasn't going to give up.
