Max:

I sighed as the door to my room opened and Fang walked in.

"I thought I told you to stay out."

"You did, but you're gonna wanna hear what I just saw."

"What?" I asked, eyeing him suspiciously.

"I just caught Iggy and Ella making out. They had no idea I was there until I actually showed myself, they were so absorbed in each other."

"Do you know if they're gonna get together?" I asked eagerly.

"Iggy said they weren't dating, yet. Besides, it's about time they got together."

"Speaking of which, what time is it?"

Fang looked at his watch. "Around 8:00."

"Then you need to get the others home."

"Iggy and Ella can take them home, I'm staying with you."

"Fang, I'll be home tomorrow. I think I can handle one night without you."

"I don't know if I could, though." He said, giving me puupy dog eyes, which I ignored, knowing he was just trying to get me to give in, which was not going to happen.

"You'll be fine, just go, don't worry about me. I love you," I said as he started to walk out.

"Sure," I heard him mutter under his breath. I hit him on the arm playfully, which got a rewarding smile.

"Bye Fang. Seriously, don't worry about me. The flock needs you to be the leader while I'm stuck in here."

"I know," he said, leaning down to give me a kiss before walking out the door.

I woke abruptly to the feel of a hand against my mouth. I struggled to get free but whoever this was held a cloth to my mouth, making me breathe in the sweet smell of chloroform. I tried to scream, but everything started to go black, as I felt the person stuff me into some kind of bag.
