Addy pursed her lips and pulled her legs closer to her body, guilt flooding through her veins, The weight of betrayal that she had just committed on her shoulders. He was the Deathsinger! She should have just killed him! But she'd seen what she had been doing to the Voltaris, how many lives she had taken and ruined. She felt like the monster and had a feeling she was. She pulled her knees to her chest as Vegter walked towards her, worry in his expression.

"You ok?" He asked, sitting down beside her.

"I'm fine." She muttered. She wasn't fine, she was anything but fine. "How's your back?"

"Better, still a bit burned but it's better than what it was before." He said and wrapped his tail around her arm, pulling her hand closer to his. "But what about you? You seem troubled."

"I am." She admitted and glanced towards her friend. She was scared to tell him but also scared to keep it a secret. But then again, it would probably be better for everyone if she kept it a secret.

"Alright then, what's wrong?" He asked and patted her hand.

"Do you ever think about what we're doing... how wrong it is?" She asked and saw Vegter raise his eyebrows.

"I think about what we're doing." He said and watched her with concern. "But I never think it's wrong, we're saving lives."

"And taking lives in the process." She answered and he sighed a bit.

"I know but it's what we have to do to defend Ardonia from the Voltaris." He said and placed a hand on her shoulder, she nudged his hand off, feeling awful. I'm going to help the Voltaris... She thought. That's my new mission.

Addy glanced towards Kos as he raised his sword to kill a young Voltaris and ran towards him, knocking into him, hard. He stumbled to the side, barely keeping balance and whipped towards her, fury evident on his face.

"WHAT WAS THAT FOR?!" He roared, anger simmering just beneath the surface. She looked towards the closest Voltaris and pointed.

"He knocked me into you, I'm sorry." She lied and Kos growled and glanced around. She had made sure to give the little Voltaris enough time to run away. Kos let out a roar of anger and swung a punch at her but she quickly dodged. She saw someone grab Kos's arm as he tried to punch her again, seeing Thalleous behind the Mendoris with a frown, lashing his tail.

"Kos, we are supposed to be fighting the Voltaris not the other champions." He said and Kos yanked his arm from the Sendaris Champion's grasp, whipping towards him with a snarl.

"She made me loose a target!" He growled and Thalleous just frowned deeper and abruptly knocked Kos off of his feet with his tail, planting a foot on Kos's chest. The Mendoris struggled, grabbing at his foot and lashing his tail to no use.

"We all make mistakes, just find another one." He said then abruptly stabbed a female Voltaris in the stomach, Addy widened her eyes in horror as the poor Voltaris's markings started flashing. Thalleous yanked the sword out and Addy watched as the Voltaris collapsed, clutching her stomach.

"Yeah we really should get going let's get going now! Oh is that a group of Voltaris over there? I'm going to finish this one off so go get those other ones." Addy said hurriedly, pushing Thalleous off of Kos and shoving them both towards a male Voltaris that was easily taking out the champions. Thalleous and Kos charged towards the Voltaris as Addy darted towards the female, pulling her up as much as she could and dragging her towards a bush, hiding her behind it and grabbing her Supporium song.

"Alright hold still." She ordered. The female watched her for a minute as she pulled out the Supporium song and started healing the wound in the female's stomach.

"Aren't you going to 'finish me off' as you said you were?" She asked, confused as she watched the open flesh close, leaving only a faint scar.

"No, I've realized what we're doing and I've realized that it's wrong, I'm here to help." She said and the female stared but nodded.

"Then I will see you as our ally." She said and stood up with a smile. Addy nodded then saw a group of Voltaris crowded around an injured child over in an open space. She widened her eyes making sure none of the other champions saw and ran towards the Voltaris group, a few looked towards her and widened their eyes as a female picked up her child and ran after the rest of the group. Addy eventually backed them behind a snow bank and saw the defeat in their eyes. She kneeled down in front of the child who had buried her face in her mother's stomach.

"Come here, little one." She whispered soothingly. The child looked up then walked towards her slowly. Addy took the little girl's hand as the mother moved closer to a male sharing the markings of the child and buried her face in her husband's chest. The male pulled his wife closer with wide eyes. Addy pulled out her remaining medical tape and wrapped it around the child's hand.

"Does that feel better now?" She asked and smiled as the sound of snow crunching sounded, the sound of someone approaching. The Deathsinger drew his sword and ignited it as he neared the female, his gaze pinned on her before he stopped abruptly as a male walked towards her and let her heal him. He stopped and stared. The female stood up quickly her eyes wide.

"I'm and ally I promise!" she yelped, her eyes wide. The Deathsinger still stared at her, his gaze drilling into her, she felt as though her insides would explode if he got any closer. Which he did.

"An ally you say?" He hissed. "And why should we trust you? Champions have hunted us for centuries." he hissed. She lowered her head and swished her tail gently as he snarled.

"She helped us, Master. I trust her." A male spoke up and he looked towards the male with raised eyebrows then looked back towards the female.

"Fine, we'll give you a chance."
