Addy blinked awake slowly, her vision blurry before the everything faded in and she registered that she was on a cot in a hut, the entire place was silent, she glanced around for a minute. No Ingressus... Where was he? She thought he would be there, and she knew this wasn't Nestoria, Kaltaria, Sendaria, or Mendoria's medic hut, they had theirs in caves.

"Ingressus...?" She asked softly then collapsed back onto the cot as pain erupted in her stomach. She let out a loud cry of pain and didn't hear the sound off footsteps running towards the hut. The medic burst in, seeing her awake and quickly grabbed her supplies, running over and unwrapping the wrapping on Addy's stomach then applying the numbing cream.

"Where's I-Ingressus...?" Addy asked and tried to sit up but fell back down on the cot.

"He's at a meeting." She spoke.

"A meeting...?" She asked softly.

"Yes, a war planning meeting." The Medic replied and wrapped the wound back up.

"How long..."

"A week." The medic said, guessing her question of how long she had been asleep as she helped her off the cot.

"The meeting room isn't far, just go over there, I have to go take care of a woman giving birth but I'm sure you can make it, take this cane." She said and handed Addy a wooden cane which Addy put under her arm and used it to help her move out of the hut, she made her way towards the place the medic said Ingressus was and let out another cry of pain as the pain in her stomach erupted again and collapsed, closing her eyes tightly as she tried to endure the pain.

"Addy!" A male voice cried, and she felt someone lift her up as she let out another scream of agony. She opened her eyes a bit and saw vermillion markings, immediately wrapping her legs around his waist and letting out a quiet whimper instead.

"W-where w-w-were y-you?" She stammered and felt Ingressus kiss her on the lips. When he stopped kissing her, she felt her head fall onto his chest.

"I'm sorry my love... we didn't know when you were going to wake up..." He said and hugged her tightly. "But I promise I'll take care of you now that you're awake, you should heal ok with the Protisium Prime to help."

"O-ok." She stammered and rested her hands on his back.

"Alright cancel the meetings for the following week, have Lucarious manage the meetings for now, but I need to take care of my girlfriend." He said and the Voltaris nodded then left as Ingressus carried her to his room. Once they reached the room he set her on his bed, laying down beside her and resting her on top of him with her chest on his. She breathed in softy then felt a cold touch on her injury, glancing back to see Ingressus healing it with the Protisium Prime.

"I'm so glad you're ok..." He sighed. "I-I was worried I was going to lose you..."

"I'm here." She said softly and squeezed his hand tightly.

"Yeah... and I was wondering something..." He said and fiddled with the blanket for a minute.

"Yes?" She asked softly.

"Will you marry me?" He asked and cupped her hand in his, a meaningful expression on his face. She widened her eyes a bit then leaned towards him, her hand softly caressing his face.

"Yes..." She said softly then felt him pull her closer to him and kiss her warmly on the lips. She smiled as he stopped and hugged him tighter, feeling him tuck in his stomach to avoid touching her stomach and hurting her.

"I'm sorry..." He whispered softly and leaned against her.

"For what?" She asked and looked up at him, brushing his hair away from his face and kissing his cheek.

"For not protecting you, you nearly died because I wasn't watching around me." He sighed and lowered his head before she moved up and rested her forehead against his making a soft 'mmm' noise and he opened his eyes, his gaze still ashamed.

"It's not your fault, you just couldn't resist watching my amazing fighting skills." She said playfully, knowing that it would cheer him up. He laughed heartily and squeezed her tighter.

"We will need things for our wedding." He said and softly stroked her hair.

"Like announcing it to everyone before we go too far, and I end up pregnant before they've even realized we're married?" She asked and he chuckled.

"Yes that, and we need flower ideas and things like that." he said and she nodded then leaned her head against his chest then felt him slide his hand down her chest to her stomach and softly press his hand against the wound, stopping the blood flow for a minute.

"But for now... you should sleep..." He said softly and she smiled then kissed him again, leaning against him then dozing off with her head on her future husband's chest.
