CHAPTER NINE

"Friends for different spans of time" Aiyla

The morning was quiet as everyone was moving around tiredly. They were exhausted from yesterday and all they wanted to do was lazy around but of course they couldn't since they were being sent by the parents and the kids were running around screaming

Ruha sighed tiredly and stood up grabbing her veil and shoe before walking out

She walked to the cliff for a few hours of silence, she's already suffering from a migraine due to the noise

She sat down and got lost in the beauty before her

"It seems I always find you here!" The voice interrupted her

She looked up and smiled. Na'im. "Hey"

"Hello to you too" he replied sitting beside her "your siblings are here and I didn't see you soo"

Ruha nodded "yeah, didn't even know when they did"

"Now come on let's go to the tree house, the others are there playing games. We are riding the hover boards around the estate, they just came in yesterday"

Ruha laughed and stood up dusting her skinnies. She's dressed in a black skinnies and a cream and pink high low shirt and a single long necklace with sandals and veil

They walked over to his house and she was stunned at how beautiful his treehouse is. It is already pretty obvious he's loaded and he's in the country without parents

The tree house almost looked like a cabin and it was on a huge tree designed with a homey feeling. He led her up the cute steps and opened the door. What she saw stunned her, it had a cozy interior, a plasma TV on the wall, bean bags and other couches scattered around the room. It even had a mini kitchen

The others were scattered around the mini cabin playing video games and many more

"Hey Ruha!" Afra said bouncing to her. Nurayn and Farha were in their own mini bubble. Na'im's cousins and her are a little close now since they are daily chatting

"Come on guys, I told Nia to bring out the hover boards so get your lazy bodies up and let's get going" they all stood up excited and Na'im and Ruha as usual ended up partnering "I've never ridden one before"

He laughed "well then, I'm happy I'm the reason you are trying it out"

They reached and the cousins were surprised to see about 20 hover boards

"how did you get soo many hover boards, this things are damn expensive" Yusuf asked

Na'im shrugged "I didn't know how many we were gonna be this month and I didn't want any sharing drama you get so I kinda just bought this much, I could sell it again if I wanted and it was too much"

"It IS too much Na'im" Haseeb said with a laugh

Nurayn and Jamal were already ahead of them all riding out the villa. Till today Ruha doesn't know all the facilities the house has but Afra said something about an indoor swimming pool and an excersice room which had even a boxing ring as huge as it was. She had seen the kitchen and its gigantic. The guest bathroom where she had performed in is gigantic

The outside is ozone friendly with trees lining up, it even had a mini forest, a huge infinity pool, a gazebo, a fountain, and a natural water fall. How this all is in Nigeria is beyond her understanding. The girls had turned it into their selfie places

Na'im helped her climb the hover board and start moving around the house slowly before she got a hang of it. They began to do different stunts, their laughter echoing around the estate. They were making an sc video of each other having fun and even tried to choreograph a Tik tok video. It turned out a fun disaster. In their presence, Ruha wasn't a 19 years old weighed down by memories, she's just a teenager hanging out with friends who wormed themselves into her life creating memories worth remembering. She is happy.
