Poke! Poke! Poke!

"(Y/n)! Wakey-wakey!"

The blue blue skies above were the first thing you expected to see as you woke up, but it was instead covered up by the smiling face of your captain and her straw hat. Your entire body felt lethargic, but you still found strength in you to entertain Luffy about whatever it was she was waking you up for. Once you sat up, you looked around to see... that you were already at the navy base city. Oh. Wiping your tired eyes, you rest them as you give her a smile, yawning as you began to stretch your sore body.

"So, what's the plan?" Exercising your jaw as you listened, you found out what exactly your goal was as to arriving in a navy base city. Somewhere pirates normally wouldn't go to. "Hmm, I see, I see. Alright then, I'm gonna go ask around, let's split up for a bit. Much faster for us to find information separately. Meet you guys at the gate?"

"Okay!"

Having split apart from them for the time being, you enter the marketplace filled with food stalls and the like. You bought some fruits, some local delicacies, and some extra for Luffy once you guys meet back up. On the way, you picked up some notebooks and pencils for way more than the market price, which the stall owner seemed to be very grateful for. However, when you asked him about Zora, his expression turned from gratefulness into one of fear and surprise.

"Seems like she's a bit infamous around these parts, hm?" Biting the feather of your pencil, you jotted that down on your notes until you finally came across a small restaurant. Stuffing the notebook into your overcoat's inner pocket, you open the door and enter inside. "Though at least I know there's a likely chance that she is in the area."

The overall atmosphere was rather great. The people were enjoying their meals, sharing stories and just overall having a great time. The owner, at least you assumed the pretty lady to be, seemed downtrodden, however, while she served alcohol and food to the patrons of the restaurant. Sitting down next to the counter, you pull out your notes as you wrote down your thoughts about the whole situation.

"Ah, how may I help you, sir?" A pretty lady by the name of Ririka asked as she came over to you from behind the counter, giving you a smile that was hiding pain behind it.

"I'm looking for information on someone."

"Ah, sir, we're not that kind of establishment..." Her face looked around nervously as a child came over, looking at her mother and back to you repeatedly.

"Surely, beautiful madam, you must've at least heard about... Zora? The pirate hunter?"

"What do you want with her?!" A young child suddenly had come over next to you, her mad little face looking like a cute dumpling to your eyes as she held a bundle in her hands.

"I'm a... potential friend, you could say." With a gentle smile, you defuse the situation as you stuffed your notebook back into your pocket, extending your hand towards the child. "I'm (Y/n). What's your name?"

"...I'm Rika." Shaking your hand, she seemed to still be a bit wary of you but was giving you the benefit of the doubt. "If you're a friend of Zora, then you have to be a nice person!"

"Well, not exactly a friend, yet." You giggle, standing up from your seat as you knelt in front of her. "But from the way you speak of her, she must be a kind-hearted person, am I right?"

"Yes!" Beaming, she nodded at your words as she showed you the food that was in the little bundle she was holding on to. "I made this for her! She's in the marine base right now, tied up... she must be hungry by now!"

"Can you lead me to her? I gave my word that I would try to meet her to a friend of mine."

"Okay! But you have to carry the rope and the ladder!"
