Chapter 22

Maddy's POV

I opened my eyes as the sun's rays between the blinds hit my eyes... 

"Good morning, here's some coffee" Minah smiled giving me a kiss on the cheek 

"Good morning" I smiled at her giving her a soft peck on the lips as I took the mug of hot coffee from her hand 

"Our flight is at 8 PM so we have plenty of time to spare, we'll arrive there probably in the morning or lunchtime since it's a 13-hour flight if you need to go shop for some stuff to bring with you or something" She said standing up as she put her hair into a bun 

"Yeah, I'll go see Cate and Kirsten at the mall later" I told her taking a sip of my coffee 

"I'm so excited to go to Korea with you, you'll get to see all the great places there and such, we have nice beaches, and you'll love the dancers there they're really hard-working" She said placing her hands on mine excitedly

"Yeah I'm excited as well" I smiled at her

"Pft... You won't even visit Seoul if you weren't teaching a class there" She said rolling her eyes and dropping her hands from mine dramatically and I laughed at her 

"How about you? Don't you have plans?" I asked her looking in her direction

She sat on my lap 

"Careful now Maddy, I might think you care about me" She said smiling as she rested her arms on my shoulders

"Stop" I warned her as I chuckle 

She stood up right away and grabbed my towel

"I'll just stop by at my apartment to make sure I have everything I need, I can meet you at the airport if you want, I'll just take a shower to wake up my nerves, cause somebody refused to give me proper sleep last night" She rolled her eyes at me and I smiled in victory

After Minah took a shower, I did too, put some makeup on, and drop-off Minah off at her apartment.

I sat down inside the restaurant after I spotted Cate and Kirsten, they gave me a hug and we settled 

"So... Korea huh?" Cate started and I nodded at her as I took a bite of my food

"Isn't Bada in Korea?" Kirsten asked and I bit my tongue about her name being dropped like everything happened just yesterday

Cate nudged Kirsten with her elbow and Kirsten bit her lips realizing what she just said 

"But let's address the elephant in the room, what if you actually cross paths with her when you get there? I mean it's been three years since you guys saw each other... What are you gonna do?" Cate continued

"You guys are being ridiculous, Korea is not a small place, there's like a 50% chance that I won't see her" I rolled my eyes at them 

"And another 50% chance that you might" Kirsten butted in and I rolled my eyes... again. 

We bought some stuff that I might need to bring to Korea 

"Oh by the way, are you still dating that girl? What's her name?" Kirsten asked

"Minah" Cate answered while shuffling clothes at the rack I rolled my eyes

"Not dating her" I said coldly

"But you guys go out, go to places, sleep on each other apartment's and not to mention she's the one who helped you out to find your own apartment, the only problem is you guys don't post each other and nobody knows that you guys are hooking up which is so teenager of you" Cate blurted out acting innocently by avoiding eye contact with me
