Macaque's Redemption

Chapter 2- Second death?

 (Narrators POV)

The heroic group stared at Macaque trying to save Mei and were surprised when Mei was thrown from the flames and they surrounded Macaque, they were still in shock from finding out that LBD was actually controlling Macaque. Then when the flames dispersed, they noticed that his arms were covered in burns and that he was curling in on himself due to the pain and was about to go make sure he was okay. 

LBD jumped in and trapped him in chains, holding him up in the air as she glared up at him and Wukong noticed that she was actually there this time while MK noticed that the chains were suffocating Macaque. MK decided to take action and ran up to one of the chains attached to the ground and tried to break it but LBD noticed and tightened them around the dark monkey.

Macaque yelled out in pain, since the chains were so tight that they were pressing onto his burns, but then there was a chain around his neck, slowly suffocating him as LBD then started paying attention to the group on the ground. Wukong was glaring at her, MK and Mei were trying to break the chains, Sandy and Tang were surrounding Pigsy since he was injured to prevent LBD from getting to him. 

"Just because that stupid monkey is no longer under my control, doesn't mean I can't still go with my plan. I'll just have to kill him and then deal with all of you." MK finally managed to crack one of the chains but she noticed and replaced it with a new one and tightened the grip they had on Macaque. "ACK!" he yelled out, as the chain around his neck started strangling him, he could start seeing darkness at the edge of his vision, like he was going to pass out.

Wukong then got into position to attack when Macaque screamed out from above and looked up at him in worry as MK joined him by his side, and the golden monkey noticed the chain around his neck. "Macaque!" he yelled out and went to attack LBD but she was one step ahead and they were both exchanging attacks as MK tried to figure out how to get Macaque down. Only the dark monkey had given up on trying to stay conscious and went limp in the chains hold, causing MK to freak out "NO, Macaque!" and Wukong turned slightly to look at the other and noticed the unconscious form suspended in the air. 

This had pissed the golden monkey and he attacked LBD with new vigor while MK continued to fight against the chains to free Macaque. "Come on, come on." he muttered to himself as he pulled at the chains watching them start to crack under the pressure and since LBD was busy she couldn't repair them fast enough when they broke.

MK cheered out and ran to Macaque to catch him but when he got there, Macaque never hit the ground so the kid looked up and saw the dark haired monkey floating with a dark aura surrounding him. "Um, Monkey King. There's something happening with Macaque." the successor yelled out to his master and Wukong immediately ran over to them making sure but saw that the other was floating instead. 

LBD started laughing as she used her powers to teleport herself next to Macaque and then took him with her leaving a note as she left for the group to read. Which it said 'If you want him back, then give me the rings at ******** mountain' as MK read it aloud, it burst into flames once he was finished and the group all looked at each other. Wukong looked pissed over the fact that he thought that this whole time Macaque was doing this of his own accord but it seemed like LBD was actually making him do all of that and he attacked his friend again since the fruit flower incident where Macaque died the first time.
