(Wukong's POV)

I sat there thinking over my relationship with Macaque and how it ended so badly with Macaque dying so many years ago but as I thought about it, I realized that everything that had happened between us was my fault. I was the one who left, I was the one who found new people, I was the one who abandoned him when he needed me, I was the only person he trusted, and I was the one who...killed him.

Even though he was trying to save me from everyone else who was using me, I didn't listen and instead I killed my first friend and left him behind in the past. Now, it has come back to me and I want to fix this but how can I when Macaque only wants me dead at this point, and to be honest, it makes sense why. I had been a horrible friend to Macaque, and I plan on making it up to him no matter what the cost is, because that's what he deserves.

I continued to sit there, thinking of ways to make it up to Macaque when we get there to hear Sandy call out that he could see the mountain side and I went out to the deck to take a look. There it was, even though it was still a days trip away, I continued looking at the summit in hopes of seeing any sign of LBD or Macaque but it looked barren, like there was nothing there but I knew better. MK had come up behind me and leaned on the railing next to me, "So....... you want to explain yourself, Monkey King." he dragged out looking over at me. I looked back at him, seeing a certain look in his eyes that he was not going to let up on the subject no matter what and sighed. "Well, our past isn't really great, especially at the end when he died. Macaque and I grew up on Flower fruit mountain with all the other smaller monkey's but I had eventually become immortal."

I looked up at the sky and used my powers to create a cloud memory to actually show MK and noticed that Mei and Pigsy were there as well, "After becoming immortal, well I would spend a lot of time in the celestial realm with the other immortal beings but I guess overtime, I forgot that Mango only had me." "Mango?" MK questioned as he sat down in front of the cloud to get a better look at the memory playing out, to which I joined him there as Mei walked up to look as well.

"One of the nicknames I had for him since his name gets long and hard to pronounce over time when you're just talking for so long." MK of course, got curious "Nicknames-?" he said with a slight smirk hoping I would tell him. "I'm not telling you what his other one is, he would kill me just for that." Both MK and Mei seemed to sulk down a little at my refusal to tell them what the other name was, and even though he would kill me if I told them, I also wanted to keep that name to myself.

"Well, if it makes you feel better, he also had a nickname for me as well during that time but I'm still not telling you what it is." "Yeah. Yeah. Just continue with the story." "Well, after a while, Macaque seemed to realize that the other celestial's were using me for my powers to do stuff for them and had tricked me into thinking that Macaque was holding me back from my full power. However, when he came to save me I snapped because we were arguing and he said something and the next thing I knew was that the dojo was destroyed and Macaque lay dying in front of me.

He looked at me, and his eyes went from shock, to sadness, to anger and then he died." MK looked tense and Mei looked about ready to cry when I glanced at them from the cloud, "So Macaque just wanted revenge but was seemingly under control when you saw him again?" "Yes, but I had thought when he came back to take me with him, but I had to train you kid before I let that happen." MK just pounced, hugging me and it seemed like he was crying since my shoulder was becoming wet and Mei sat there with tears in the corner of her eyes.
