Macaque's Redemption

Chapter 3- Traveling

(Narrator POV)

The heroic group all got into their car and started heading towards LBD's mountain summit since they had all the rings for the Samadhi fire to get Macaque even though he had been attacking them for weeks. They all collectively agreed that since he was under control of the other demon, that he was allowed to redeem himself after they saved him, if he was still alive- to Wukong's worry- and give him a new life. 

As they were making their way over the land, LBD was hanging Macaque in the middle of her lair to prevent him from escaping since it's right over her throne in the main room for when the others got there. The NOT mayor walked in and noticed Macaque up above the throne "Well, my lady. I guess it seems like he pushed your buttons too far today." and she turned around. "No, he broke my control and now that monkey group knows that he was controlled and are trying to save him now." and she sat down on her throne to wait for the group to arrive.

The mayor smiled "Well, do you want me to distract them my lady? Or do you want them here as soon as possible?" and the lady just looked up at the black monkey and smirked "If they could get here as soon as possible that would be lovely." The mayor then bowed down and made his way out of the lair to give the group a nice little shortcut to getting there faster. Traveling back to the group, they were making their way to the mountain which would take them a few days but Pigsy noticed something was wrong with the king that was sitting behind him as they drove across the desert. 

"What's up with you?" he gruffed towards the golden monkey who looked up at him and MK just looked over at the king in hopes for an answer to his question. The King sighed "Well, I'm just going over my memories, looking for any instance that Macaque was being controlled the first time before." and the pig sighed since he had managed to talk to the dark haired monkey before.

"No, I don't think he was." and this confused the other "How would you know, you weren't even there much less alive." and the pig finally turned his chair around to face the king with a grating look to show that he was being serious. "Well, I had managed to somehow talk to the monkey a few weeks ago when he first got here and we found out that y'all were friends but didn't seem to get along with each other." MK then sat up in surprise, "You did!" and Pigsy got up and headed towards the kitchen, beconing for both Wukong and MK to follow him there and he started making tea. 

"Yes, I did and it seems like you two need to have a talk whenever we get him back from LBD." he said putting the tea pot on the counter and then pointed to the monkey king. "Alright, I will. But please explain why you think he wasn't in control from before he died." "You mean when you killed him, Monkey King." and the other froze while MK just stared in shock and dropped his tea cup. "How do you know about that?"

The Monkey king stuttered over his words but the demon pig just sat there and continued on, "Well, Macaque and I were able to talk it out and I found that out through his story when he told me, which he is still hurt over the fact that you killed him. However, he also told me that you were his only friend and seemed to have abandoned him for this group of people in the celestial realm and left him here. 

So he was hurt that the only person who, mind you, seemed to actually like being around him just up and left him on his own only for a group of people who were using said friend for their powers." As Pigsy was explaining, MK just continued to be in shock over finding out that Monkey king did that while the Monkey just sat there looking guilty and like he was about to cry as tears built up in his eyes. "I-I never thought about it like that." "Well, it seems like you need to think about a lot of things from your past with Macaque before you talk to him.
