It was a long night for Ellie and Jamie. Early in the morning Lottie said that she is going for a walk in the gardens. Ellie decided that they needed to do something about Lottie. She couldn't watch her living in fear and she was sure that Jamie felt the same. They both said at the same time:

-We need have to help her!

They chuckled and Ellie said:

-Yeah, but how?

-I don't know yet...

Ellie huffs.

-Jamie, she needs you! She is always saying how much she misses you. Please, Jamie, you have to come back!

The last sentence came out of her mouth like a desperate pleading.

He sighs.

-Elile, you know that staying away from her is killing me... But I have to stay here until I figure out what does Leviathan wants. I love her more than I love myself but she is distracting me and I need to think straight.

-Yeah, I know, but how much do you think you can keep lying to her?

-I don't like this either! I hate myself for lying to her but I don't have another solution. If I tell her the truth she will think that she is keeping me away from my responsabilities and she will want to break up with me.

-Then what do we do?

Before Jamie could say something, the room door opened, revealing Lottie with a smile on her face and with a bouqet of flowers in her hands.

-Hey...

-Hey pumpkin! Where did you get the flowers from?

-From the gardens. Do you like them?

-They are beautiful!

Ellie smiled at her. Lottie put the flowers in a vase and sat on her bed. Ellie excused herself and leaving the room, letting Lottie and Jamie alone to talk. Lottie was the first one who broke the silence.

-Do you remember when you were training me and you were always the first at jogging?

Jamie smiled.

-Mhm...

-Well, today i met Raphael in the gardens and we had a competition. I was the first one at the finish line.

Jamie chuckled and shook his head.

-Yeah, sure, whatever makes you sleep at night, princess.

She laughs.

-But it's true, babe!

He smiled again and nodded.

-I was just messing with you, baby.

Then he looked at the watch.

-I have to go now, but I'll call you later, ok?

-Mhm, bye, I love you!

-I love you too, princess.
