When Jamie entered in the bedroom, he saw Lottie curled in bed. He sighed and sat on the bed, touching her back softly.
-Baby?
She opened her eyes and, sitting up, she turned around to face him.
-Jamie!
She sat in his lap.
-I thought you won't come back...
He kissed her head.
-Of course I was gonna come back, princess. I'll never leave you again, I promise.
She looked at him. He smiled and kissed her.
-I'll be right back.
He laid her down on the bed, putting the covers over her. He kissed her and walked to the door but she asked:
-Where are you going?
He turned around to look at her and smiled.
-I just need to talk with Ellie, baby.
-Don't leave me alone...
He sighed, and walked over to the bed, taking her in his arms again.
-What are you scared of, baby?
-Ingrid...
-She can't get in here.
-But what if she does?
-Then I'll be here to protect you.
He decided to stay with her since she was too scared to be alone.
-I guess I'll just call Ellie.
She smiled and kissed his cheek.
-I need to change my clothes...
He smirked. When she saw the look on his face she slapped his arm playfully.
-Babe!
He laughed.
-I'm just kidding, princess. I'll turn around so you can change, yeah?
-Mhm...
He kissed her and laid in bed, his back facing her. After 2 minutes she laid in bed.
-Are you done, baby?
-Yeah...
Her voice sounded like she was falling asleep. He chuckled lightly and turned around, putting his arm around her waist. She moved a bit.
-Shh, it's ok, baby, go to sleep.
After he was sure she was asleep, he took out his phone calling Ellie.
-Jamie, are you ok?
-Yeah, don't worry, I'm fine. I'm with Lottie now.
-What did Ingrid want?
-She told me that if I don't help them take over Maradova, they'll kill Lottie.
-WHAT?
-We need to talk to your parents.
-When?
-Tomorrow. We need to be prepared for their attack.
-Ok...Lottie knows about this?
-No. I don't want her to know. We'll keep her out of this.
-Ok...
After he ended the call, he kissed Lottie's forehead and falled asleep.
