Honestly, I think it's a good thing Sam and I look nothing alike even though we are twins; it makes it easier to avoid her in school. I don't hate my sister, but I don't like her friends and I don't like how people treat me compared to her. She's always had it her way and I've done everything in my power to stay out of it. That was until I decided I didn't want to stay out of it anymore.

I got a text from Sam asking me to let her in because she forgot her key again. I sighed and got up from bed. It was so late, we hadn't started school yet, but I was tired, and yet I couldn't help but wait up for her out of fear of something happening to her. I tiptoed downstairs and quietly opened the front door for her. She had snuck out again tonight to go hang out with her friends Moon and Yasmine.

Moon wasn't too bad. She was nice, but she never knew when others were being mean because she always expected the best of everyone which made her seem mean for not saying anything. To her jokes were just jokes never serious, Yasmine however was always serious when it came to her jokes. She was just straight up mean, and she did not like me that's for sure. I once heard her talking to Sam about how she couldn't believe that our little brother Anthony and I were even related to her like he and I were from some other planet or something.

Sam didn't blame her because Anthony and I really didn't look like her. Sam definitely took more after mom whereas Anthony and I took more after dad though I was much more on the tanner side compared to Anthony which made me look even more like dad. We didn't look related and that's how we kept the peace at school for mine and Sam's sake. The only people who knew was mine and Sam's friend groups and that's where we left it.

"Where have you been?" I asked Sam considering she was coming home later than usual.

She didn't meet my eyes as she walked into the house with a scared look on her face.

"What? What happened?" I asked again trying to get an answer out of her.

We walked quietly back upstairs to her room to not wake up our parents or Anthony because lord knows he would tell mom and dad if he caught us.

"We got into an accident on the way here," she said as she started to change for bed.

"Oh my god, are you okay? Are you hurt?" I said concerned for her.

"No, I'm fine. No one got hurt but we did total the other guy's car, we got scared and drove off. I feel kind of bad, but he did scare the hell out of us."

"What did he do?"

"Well Yasmine was on her phone and he's car was parked partly in the road, so she t-boned him. The guy came running up really angry and tried to open the car yelling at us and we didn't know what to do so we drove away."

"Why didn't you just call the police he was probably drunk anyway?" I told her.

"That's what I said, but Yasmine didn't want to get in trouble with her parents and it's her car so...There wasn't really anything I could do," she told me shaking her head.

"Well, nothing we can do about it now. As long as you're okay, that's all I care about. I'm gonna go to bed are you sure you're okay?" I asked just to be sure because honestly Sam likes to lie about how she feels sometimes.

"I'm fine, go to bed Leia, I'll see you in the morning," she reassuringly said while laying down.

"Alright goodnight,"

"Goodnight and close my door," she called to me.

I shook my head jokingly "No I don't really feel like it," and I closed her door.
