The Battle of Shiganshina (Part 1)

Soldiers, lay screaming and burning, Where did we go wrong? Was it returning to this place? No, We were tricked.

We had zipped up on top of the wall, overlooking shiganshina, Mine, Eren's, Mikasa's and Armin's home. The debris, stained blood, overgrown vines, grass and foliage dot the cityscape. I feel a tap on my shoulder and see Mikasa standing there, a neutral look on her face, but her eyes full of worry.

Mikasa: Zach? You alright? You're not still injured are you?

Zach: I'm fine Mika, Don't worry.

I shine her a smirk in attempt to ease her worries, Which she physically responds by decompressing before recomposing herself. With a nod to each other we find Eren, Armin and the rest to talk about the plan. As painful as this day might be for us, None of the traitors will get out of here alive.

Erwin: This is the plan, Hange's Squad will escort Eren to the Outer wall to seal, Mikasa is to go with him to make sure he gets out of the nape. Armin take, Squads 3 and 4 stay on the walls, keep an eye out for the Armored and Colossal Titans. Recruits will watch the horses, under (insert random recruit name here.).  

I nod and kiss Mikasa's Cheek before she speeds off alongside Eren and Hange's Squad. Erwin turns to Levi and Myself as Squads 3 and 4, alongside Armin speed off in the other direction.

Erwin: You two are to take on the monkey titan when he shows himself, I trust you both with this process.

Levi: Why is the kid helping?

Erwin: Zach is our Second enlisted soldier, His Speed, Strength, and Endurance matches yours perfectly.

I feel pride bubble up from my gut after hearing the commander's words. I turn towards the interior of Shiganshina as a yellow streak of hit the ground,  followed by steam and smoke. Eren, in his titan form, emerge from it and begin sealing the wall.
