We see two children walking into their parents' room, a brother sister duo that are seemingly inseparable. Jakob, the male sibling, looks at his twin sister, Amber.
Jakob: C'mooon, let's wake them up!
Amber gives a playful roll of her eyes as they both take off in a short run before jumping onto their parents' bed.
Twins: Wake up! Wake up!
Zach: Five more minutes.
The veteran scout says tiredly, his daughter belly flopping onto her father.
Amber: Dad, wake up! It's Christmas!
Mikasa, being already awake due to Jakob's... Unique... wake up call, watches on as the male 4 year old is on her lap.
Zach props himself up on his elbows, looking at his daughter.
Zach: Is it? Well then... Whoever gets down there first gets to open their presents.
The two children go wide-eyed and clamor over their parents, Jakob reaching the door first, looks back to see Amber gone, confused he looks out the door and see her down the hall and gives chase after his sister.
Zach laughs seeing his children, Mikasa, on the other hand, climbs over and straddles her husband.
Mikasa: Merry Christmas, Zachary Mann.
Zach: Merry Christmas, Mikasa Mann.
The two kiss softly yet full of love before getting up in their pajamas as heading downstairs to watch the happiness on their children's faces.
