The Set-Up For Shiganshina

Zach stood on the wall, Facing out towards wall maria, deep in his thoughts.

Zach: 'It has been 2 months since Historia's Coronation. 2 months of gritting my teeth at Reiner and Berthold for betraying us.'

Zach didn't hear the pair of light yet purposeful footsteps behind him until he felt arms wrap around his torso.

Zach: Everyone ready mika?

Mikasa nodded into his cape, just hugging the man as if it was her final time seeing him.

(Nah he won't go out like that 😉)

Zach chuckled, slowly and struggling to turn around, due to mikasa's grip, and hugged her.

Zach: You alright Mika?

Mikasa looked up to the Brown haired boy and Nodded slowly.

Mikasa: Just worried Zach, About you, Eren and Armin.

Zach: Don't worry, You know I can look after myself.

Zach saw the look on Mikasa's face, the look of terror, she was thinking about the way you came back to her, riding upon Leo. He hugged her and rubbed her back in small circles.

Zach: Mika, I swear to you, I'll fight no matter what. Shiganshina maybe the place where I was raised, But you are my home.

The duo hugged while looking out towards the setting sun. Tomorrow would be the day, they went home.

A Voice was heard and Zach turns towards the gathering of Soldiers, looking over Trost

Flegal: Hange-San! Good Luck!

???: Take back Wall Maria for us! The Future of Humanity is in your Hands!

Then More Voices, These people are Cheering for the Soldiers as the lifts raise.

Zach and Mikasa walk up to the Group as Sasha, Connie and Jean lean over the wall, yelling different things. Zach smiled slightly at his Sister and Brother figure.

Scout: How Long's it Been since the Scouts have got a send-off like this?

Scout 2: Who Knows? I don't think we've ever-

Erwin: As far as I'm aware, this is the first.

He grins, then raises his fist in a war cry, the citizens gathered let out their own in return. The Blonde Commander turns towards Wall Maria, Pulling his blade from it's slot and points towards Shiganshina.

Erwin: The Final Operation to retake Wall Maria, will now commence!!

Horses and Soldiers are lowered onto the Soil between Rose and Maria. Zach, Mikasa, Eren and Armin are seen on the far left, Next to their respective horses. Zach looks at his friends then his lover.

Zach: Mikasa, I love you.

Mikasa turns to him, In a confused yet flustered manner. This had been the first time in their Relationship that those three yet meaningful words were muttered, but Her flustered and confused face turned serious as she regained her composure.

Mikasa: I love you too, Zach.
