Felix Pov
I sigh as my alarm clock rings, waking me up from my peaceful nap. I get up tiredly as I look at the date, it's Monday. I groan hating the fact that I have to go to school today. You can't blame me though, nobody likes going to school especially on a Monday, meaning I'll be going through another day of Hwang fucking hyunjin bullying the hell out of me.
After minutes of contemplating on whether I just skip today, I finally get up and begin to get ready for school. After taking a shower I begin to dress up. Wearing a my black jeans with my soft baby blue hoodie and converse. I decide to tie my blonde hair up seeing as it has grown quite a lot. After doing so I head downstairs to have breakfast. As I reached downstairs I could smell the delicious aroma coming from the kitchen, knowing my mom was making breakfast.
"Good morning mum." I great my mother as she smiles"Good morning Hun, did you sleep well? " she asks she plates the pancakes .I nod as I take our plates to the dining table as I place them on the table as we both sit down and begin to eat as we talk here and there. After we ate I took our plates to the kitchen as I began to wash them. As I finished I began to grab my bag about to leave until my mom spoke"Don't forget to get home early, your dad's coming over." I simply nod as I leave the house annoyed with the fact my dad is coming over. It's not like I hate my dad, he is a pretty cool person, it's just my dad is pretty homophobic and he doesn't know that I'm gay. He sees gay people as disgusting and a disgrace to society. Which is why I never came out of the closet to him and came out to my mother. She was pretty supportive of me and loved for who I am, she is honestly the best.
As I began walking to school I noticed my best friend, Han Jisung. We have been friends ever since we were in kindergarten and I wouldn't ask for a greater friend then him. He has always been there through my toughest times, like when my parents got divorced when I was 10 or when I was contemplating on whether I was into guys. He was there for me through all that and supported me. I ran up to Han as I engulfed him in a hug,"Heyy Sungie." I say happily as he hugs me,"Hey Lixie, ready for an amazing day in hell." He says sarcastically as I simply laugh,"Another day in Satan's playground."I say as we both laugh and walk into the busy hallways. "My dad's coming over tonight." I tell him and that's when he looked at me with concern, "Will you be ok, you could always come to my place if you don't want to see him." He offered and I smile, "Thanks, I'll text you if I'll come over or not." He smiles and nods as the bell then rings indicating us to head to classes,"I'll see you during lunch, bye lixie." He says as he waves goodbye to me and wave back at him as I enter my first lesson, which is History.
I enter the classroom and take my seat waiting for our teacher to get here. As I was waiting I took out my phone and started scrolling through Tiktok mindlessly as students began to the enter the classrooms. "Well isn't it our little gay princes." A voice spoke to me and I knew all to well who it was, "Good morning to you too, Hyunjin. Do you need something?" I ask with the fakest smile I have ever had to put on."Yeah I need you to get out of my seat." He says as I just look up at him confused,"What do you mean your seat, I always sit here." I tell him and simply glares at me "Listen here felix, I feel like sitting here today so why don't you just grab your shit and sit somewhere else." He spat angrily and without saying another word I simply grabbed my bag and sat in a different seat, far away from him.
Soon our teacher entered our classroom with a stack of papers as smiled to the class, God knows that were in for a shit ton of homework. "Good morning class, you must be wondering why I got a stack of papers here well for the next month you will be working on a project." Mr Choi says and class simply sighs as he chuckles, "Yes, yes whine all you want but it's a fun project." Clearly his definition of fun is totally different from ours, I say to myself as he continues, "You'll be assigned to go around famous place's in Seoul and research the history of those venues. Don't fret you will paired into two to this assignment but I will be paring you." The class grew excited hearing this as he began to pair us up.I too was looking forward to the assignment well that's until I was paired with Hyunjin and boy was he mad. "I'm sorry sir but I would like a different partner I don't wanna be partnered up with...him" he says as points at me with a disgusted look. "Unfortunately Hwang you can't have a different partner, suck it up and except it" Mr Choi said in a stern voice and Hyunjin simply scoffed. "Now then the worksheets I'm handing out to you is just a guide on what I expect from your assignment. You will also have to present your work in front of the class with your assigned partner" he says as he hands out the worksheets to us. "I want a list from each of you on what venue you will research on by Friday, if you and your partner can't think of one I'll be happy to provide one for you." He says as he then walks back to the front of the classroom after handing out the worksheets to every student.
I began to look through the worksheet and noticed what sir was expecting from us wasn't really as bad as I thought it would be. It's pretty simple we create a power point presentation with pictures and research of the place we chose and basically we have to explain the presention and share our experience on it. Pretty straight forward and simple, well except for the whole being partnered up with hyunjin, that part is not so simple. Today really isn't my day.
If only he knew the worst is yet to come...
