I awakened to screaming and laughing. I found that I was in a bed upstairs and Christian was asleep in a chair near the closet in the room. I slowly pulled the covers off of me. I still had all of my clothes on, including my shoes. He probably carried me up here and fell asleep. I smiled at him. Then, I swung my feet onto the floor, stood up, and started to creep out of the room.

"Where are you going?" Christian asked, still kind of asleep.

"Downstairs. Everyone else is awake. Get your butt out of that chair and come with me." I grabbed Christian by the wrist and attempted to pull him out of the chair. He tried to throw himself back into the chair.

"I don't wanna get up!" he whined.

"Get up! Get up right now!" I yelled.

Christian grabbed onto my arms. I quickly let go, hoping he hadn't felt my scars. He was wide awake by now. "Why do you do it?" he asked me.

'Dammit!' I thought. "I don't wanna talk about it," I told him.

"Where else have you done it?" he asked me.

"Just here and here," I said pointing to my arms.

"Let me see," he instructed me. I took off all of my bracelets and let him look at my arms. The few inches of skin my bracelets were covering was riddled with scars. He ran him fingers over them.

"When was the last time you did it?" he asked me.

"Three months ago."

Christian sighed. "Promise me you'll never do it again. You are the most beautiful girl I have ever seen. You have no reason to do this to yourself. If you're doing this because you think no one loves you... you're wrong," he told me. I stared at him. He was on the verge of tears.

"Because I love you. I've loved you since I saw you laying on the street, beaten and bloody. You're a fighter. And when you think you have nothing left to live for... think about me. Think about the rest of the band downstairs that adores you. And I know, I'm a lot older than you and you're not quite eighteen yet, but... I love you Winter. I am in love with you."I leaned forward.

"I love you, too," I told him. And he kissed me. And I let him. I pulled away from him and said, "No one other than the people downstairs need to know about this. That was a felony." He laughed.

And downstairs we went, hand in hand, smiles on our faces.
