Amber finds out from Jean that a Harbinger is in town, and that she should keep an eye on him. She, in fact, stalks him and watches his every move for any sign of an ulterior motive. She didn't find any, and now it seems that people think she has the ulterior motive- understandable, she was following him everywhere, and the residents did not know his identity... but still.
Over the time that she had been watching him, she had noticed one thing- he was not good with his bow. It's like watching someone try to use a bow after not moving their arms for a few months- he was very, very stiff.
It actually made her a little uncomfortable, seeing such a sight! Amber had been like that when she started training, and ended up with some pretty sore arms, and a proper lesson from her grandfather. She'd like to say that it would be pretty good if a Harbinger fought just a little less well, but she felt a bit bad thinking it...
Amber always sees the best in people, and he hasn't done anything particularly odd so far, so would it hurt to tell him? Possibly, but she swallows that down and approaches him.
He turned before she could get too close, and she took notice of his eyes. The light from the moon did not shine in them. He seemed expectant. Had he known she was following him...?
Though, now she thinks of it, she wasn't very careful.
"I was wondering when you were going to come up to me!"
Yep, he knew.
