It was around 2:00 PM, the hot sun shining above them as Izuku arrived at the airport. Despite his protests, Fenrir had insisted on carrying his bags which got them a lot of weird looks as Fenrir towered over everyone in althe airport. He made his way to the main gate for his flight as he had to deal with the TSA due to his sword and Fenrir.
"Sir you only have one ticket for this flight." The security guard said looking at Fenrir.
"Service animal," Izuku replied, in a blunt voice, which left the guard visibly surprised. Fenrir, for his part, simply tilted his head in mild curiosity.
"Bark," Fenrir chimed in, causing them to sweatdrop slightly. As afterwards they got on to their flight after izuku showed the documentation.
Fenrir returned to Izuku as he realized he couldn't fit on the plane. Izuku settled into his seat, pleasantly surprised by the luxury of business class.
"Business class is much nicer than I expected," Izuku remarked, taking in his surroundings and making himself comfortable.
"How long is this flight?" Griffon inquired within Izuku's mind.
"14 hours, why?" Izuku responded, engrossed in his phone. Griffon let out an exasperated groan.
"C'mon, just open a portal to Japan with Muramasa. You can do that, you know?" Griffon pleaded, but Izuku chuckled and shook his head.
"I'm not like Dad, Griffon. Unlike him, I actually have an ID," Izuku explained, leaving Griffon puzzled.
"Meaning I'd be illegally entering the country if I opened a portal to there, and I'd go to jail," Izuku further clarified, but Griffon still didn't quite grasp it.
"You humans and your stupid customs," Griffon grumbled, to which Izuku sighed and nodded.
"Everything would be easier that way, wouldn't it?" Izuku agreed, acknowledging the convenience of teleportation.
"I still can't take you seriously with that baby voice of yours. You'll be a hit at the underground bar," Izuku remarked, letting out a chuckle. This comment irked Griffon, and inside Izuku's body, the bird demon began to vent his frustration. Fenrir and the other familiars observed this spectacle, somewhat bewildered by the situation.
"Shadow, do you want to be the coffee shop mascot?" Izuku asked the small cat, receiving an affirmative meow in response.
14hrs Later-
After a lengthy flight, Izuku finally arrived in Japan, feeling utterly exhausted. He stood up, determined to navigate through the bustling crowd and disembark from the aircraft. Once he collected his luggage, he made his way through the airport, accompanied by Fenrir, who shouldered the burden of carrying his bags. They observed the bustling activity at the airport, with Fenrir commenting on how different it was from America. Izuku nodded, feeling a strong wave of nostalgia wash over him. It had been a long time since he had been back home. Just like in the American airport, they attracted curious and sometimes apprehensive looks from the people around them. This eventually led to them being stopped for a security check, which further delayed their exit from the airport.
"Master, do you sense that?" Fenrir inquired, looking up. Izuku couldn't help but smile.
The flap of colossal wings resonated through the air, and suddenly, a massive demon resembling a dragon appeared atop the airport terminal. Its sudden appearance sent people into a panic as it taunted and ridiculed those who fled. Heroes were swiftly called to the scene, but their attempts were in vain as the dragon easily swatted them away, continuing its mockery.
