"My name is Ivan, and welcome to your worst nightmare," he declared as all the lights in the room suddenly went out, leaving only Izuku's red eyes glowing in the darkness.
When the lights flickered back on, Izuku had vanished. "Who was that?" Denki exclaimed, fear evident in his voice.
"I believe that was our combat instructor," Mom replied, scanning the room.
"Did you know about this, Hitoshi?" Sato asked Shinso, who shook his head.
"We're in big trouble," Uraraka said, her tone defeated, just as Izuku's voice echoed through the speakers.
"Greetings, students of class 1-A! Welcome to Combat 101! Your first lesson is simple: survive!" Izuku announced, bewildering them all.
"Shouldn't you introduce yourself first?" Mina inquired, to which Izuku chuckled.
"Do you truly believe you deserve such courtesy? UA grants its teachers the freedom to conduct their classes as they see fit! If you disagree, you are free to leave," Izuku retorted, shocking them.
"Isn't this a bit harsh?" Jiro interjected.
"Come out and face me like a man, you pathetic extra!" Katsuki bellowed, his sister and the others looking on in embarrassment.
"He's right, act on your words!," Shoto added.
As they heard him grumble on the other end, Shinso started sweating profusely.
"Guys, stop, you're only making it worse," Shinso muttered, while Sato and Uraraka nodded in agreement.
"Don't give me orders, you extra!" Katsuki bellowed at Shinso, who stared back at him coldly.
"Do as you wish," Shinso replied with a smile.
"You're just going to attack him like that?" Sato exclaimed at Shinso, who rolled his eyes.
"Since you're so eager for a fight, fine. I had planned to release a few robots to test your skills, but I suppose not," a voice behind them said. They turned to see Izuku seated on the sword.
"You just had to choose the hard way." Izuku remarked, glaring at the students, who all froze except for Shinso and Kagura.
"I-Izuku?" Izaki stammered, but Izuku's gaze remained blank as he shifted his attention to the others.
"For your first lesson, charge at me, and if you can land one single hit on me, then dinner is on me and we stop this whole thing." Izuku instructed, confusing the students.
"Don't need to tell me twice!" Katsuki yelled, charging at Izuku.
"Katsuki, wait!" Katsumi shouted, following her brother.
He propelled himself through the air, using explosions to boost his speed.
"Let's do this, sis!" Katsuki yelled, and Katsumi sighed, flying closer to him until they were in front of Izuku.
"Wait, you'll kill him if you use that!" Shoka yelled.
"He won't die if he dodges," Katsuki retorted as Izuku scoffed.
Mega Twin Explosion! they both shouted simultaneously, unleashing a massive blast at Izuku's face.
Smoke, dust, and debris filled the air. The students watched in amazement, except for Shinso, Sato, and Uraraka.
"There's no way he survived that," Kirishima remarked, shocked.
"Do you think he's alright?" Uraraka asked shocked as Shinso nodded.
