Kagura vs. Kendo played out predictably. Kagura effortlessly dodged Kendo’s massive punches, then with a single powerful kick, sent her flying out of the arena.
The next match was Izumi vs. Ashido, which ended quickly as Izumi used her telekinesis to easily toss Ashido out of bounds.
Katsumi then faced Tokoyami. Despite Tokoyami putting up a strong fight, the bright daylight and Katsumi's light-producing explosions gave her the upper hand, ultimately causing Tokoyami to lose.
Katsuki went up against Kirishima next. Kirishima powered through Katsuki's blasts using his hardening, surprising Katsuki with a few solid hits. But in the end, Katsuki unleashed a powerful explosion, securing his win.
Tsuyu faced ilda afterward. Ilda's superior speed allowed him to outmaneuver Tsuyu and knock her out of the arena with a well-timed kick.
Next, Shoka took on Ibara. Shoka's flames easily burned through Ibara’s vines, sending her out of the arena with little effort.
Finally, it was Shinso’s turn. His opponent was none other than Katsumi.
Present-
In the stands, Izuku sighed as he saw the next match approaching. Noticing, Nero glanced over at him. "You worried about the kid?""Nah," Izuku replied, leaning back in his seat. "We trained him hard during those two weeks—he’s got what it takes to handle this."
"So, what's with the sigh then?" Nero asked while drinking some soda.
Izuku stretched a little. “I’m just feeling restless. Watching all these fights... it’s got me itching for one of my own.”
Nero held his stomach as he felt it bubbling. "I think the soda went bad." He grunted holding in a burp.
Kafka chimed in, amused. "Even after you participated in the second event?" Izuku nodded, causing her to shake her head. “Seriously, how much energy do you have?”
"Way more than you, old hag," Izuku teased with a grin, just before Kafka smacked him on the head, leaving a visible bump.
"This ‘old hag’ is about to teach you some respect, boy." she said in a menacing tone.
"I was just joking!" Izuku protested, rubbing the bump.
"You should know better than to joke about a woman’s age!" Kafka shot back.
As their bickering escalated, Nero sighed while Griffon, watching from nearby, sweat-dropped. "They’re like an old married couple."
"I know, right?" Nero chuckled. “They should just get together already.”
"For the thousand yen I'm betting they get together before the end of the month." Touya said getting Nero interested.
"A bet is it? I bet they'll get together the month after." Nero replied as touya smirked.
"Fools, All of you! It'll be by the end of this week!" Griffon boasted as he spit out a credit card. "I'll bet his bank account on it." As he said this Nero's and Touya's eyes lit up with determination.
"What are they doing?" Jun asked Ryuko.
"Just ignore them honey." Ryuko said with a blank face.
Just then, flames ignited behind Shinso as he stepped into the ring. "Looks like it’s starting," Nero noted. At that, Izuku and Kafka quickly stopped arguing as the focus shifted back to the arena.
Meanwhile-
Shinso and Katsumi stepped into the arena, each preparing in their own way. Shinso casually stretched before unsheathing his tanto, while Katsumi scoffed, taking her hands out of her pockets and settling into a fighting stance.
