First date au

Luke's pov:

Like all of my other mornings recently,it started with messaging Zander good morning and asking how he is. It would always take him a while to respond as he usually slept in later than me,but I always loved it when I would get a message doing something random, reminding me of the date I had lucked out on!
"OH MY GOD LUKE! THE PANCAKE FELL ON THE ROOF—"
I whipped my head round to see my two roommates, Lucy a brown haired brown eyed girl with sage streaks, and Mika , a light blonde and pink haired girl(Demi) with dusky pink eyes,panicking over the pancake on the roof of our shared kitchen.
Lucy was Chihuahua laughing at The Demi girl who had the pan in hand,screaming.
I put my phone down and struggled to reach the pancake ,but,due to my height, I was able to and it landed back in the pan.
"Wooow the gentle ginger giant saves the day! Yet again!" Lucy laughed as he put his pancake on a plate and doused it in syrup.
"What can I say,I'm great" I jokingly bragged
"This is why we nominate you as best cook" the brown eyed girl continued pointing at the burnt pancake covered in sticky syrup to masc the burnt ness"
"HEY! This is delicious!" The black eyed girl said,shoving a forkful in her mouth.
"Whatever! I'm going to get ready,need to get to the train by like 10 ish,so I'm gonna have a shower"
"Why do you need to go to the train" the brown haired girl said,her lips forming into a smirk,knowing the answer
Luke sheepishly smiled and said "I just fancy going to roseshire? They had a good climbing wall there" he smiled,hoping they'd buy this
Obviously,they did not.
"Don't lie to us bro, we know your little boyfriend loves that place!" Mika smiled, taking some milk out the firidge from her shelf(hc that in their fridge there are three shelves and because Mika always stil food they now each have a shelf/area of the fridge)
Luke groaned and gave in "fineee,yeah,whatever we're going to a diner and bowling"
"Oooooo! How fun!" The blue haired girl  said
The shorter  girl agreed and joined in "you need us to clear off again? Or do you think you'll crash at his tonight?" She asked,smirking.
"Maybe— WAIT- WOAAAH what do you mean clear off?"?
"You really thought we both coincidentally had plans until like 7 the next morning? YPU really have no faith in us passing uni damn"
"I know right! We just went to the pub together and hypothesised what he looked like" the black eyed girl said.
Luke turned red and bashed his head into the upper cabinet (liek when you put ur head on a wall)
"Thanks for that I guess" Luke started once he gathered himself. "But he said last night he'd like me to come over so0 you guys can like fantasise here I guess?" And with that Luke went to get ready.

(The two messaging while Luke is on the train cuz idk how to write train rides)

Zan🫶🏻: yooooo! U on the train yet?
Me: yes :)
Me: listening to some tunes because the only other girl in this part of the train is gossiping ON SPEAKER with her mate
Zan🫶🏻: just call me and put me on speaker to get back at her ,I'll be really Loud
Me: that would be funny
Me: but as much as I enjoy your talking,Lana is on so🙅‍♂️
Zan🫶🏻: damn. Bro I thought you liked me💔😞
Me: I'm staying at yours tonight AND I spent five pound fifty on this train ticket, as a guy who works minimum wage at a music shop who has crippling university
debt, I think that's a sacrifice
Zan🫶🏻: damn ok fair

Me: yes! See u soooon ♥️ I'm one stop away

Luke got off the train and met Zander at the central starion( it's kind of like the train station in Birmingham where there's a shopping centre with food and activities attached to it)
"Hi!" Zander exlaimed as his eyes lit up. As he ran to hug his date.
"Oh hey!" Luke said, shocked by the hug, however quickly returning it.
"Someone's excited to see me! Guess I put up a good impression! "
The purple haired buy just rolled his eyes and smiled .
"Wanna go bowling first or food?" Luke asked, grabbing his dates hand.
"I don't know..." Zander pondered checking the time.
"Maybe food first? That way we can end the date on me beating you?" He said,sracsticly
"Sounds good!" Luke smiled, "and also, I'm soo gonna beat you! What are you on! You know I do sports" as they headed over to the bowling alley.
"We'll see!" He laughed as they walked over to get food

As they walked away from the bowling alley tored, yet happy with their night, they went to exchange their tickets from earlier that evening, as they were early to their slot, they decided the arcade was a good pastime.
The two claimed some sweets and like claimed a janky rubix cube to try and solve another day
The two walked to the train station eating their sweets, sharing them and trying to steal them of eachother.

"Ha! I told you I'd beat you!" Zander laughed as they walked down the ramp to grab a ticket home

The two had thoughroly enjoyed bowling and the arcade.
after their bowling match, both of them were tired and full, but , surprisingly, Zander had won their game with only a 10 point difference and the two were joking all the way to the train station.
"I am flabbergasted , i usually best my whole family at bowling! He said dramatically  , pretending to faint.
"I still beat you at mario cart, AAAAND the punch game at the arcade
"Shut up! You know I'm not that strong!"
The purple eyed male laughed and kissed his cheek, putting his card on the gate so he could walk through.
A comfortable silence came over them as they both sat down on a bench, Luke was the one to break it , sighing and looking at his wonderful date.
"I had a great night" Luke smiled ,putting his hand on Zanders thigh.
They man smiled and put his hand on top of Luke's and agreeing: "yeah, it was really nice"
Am I still coming to yours ? Or have you changed your mind?" Zander asked, his tone more worried near the end
"Im still coming to your place, don't worry" like chuckled.
The train arrived and the two of them got on, as it was pretty late, the carriage was pretty empty and it was just them two in the way back. They didn't have to stay in half as long as they did when they went to Luke's, as Zanders place was fairly close.
The two chatted about their day and lives on the way back , Luke told Zander about the pancake incident this morning and that his roommates deliberately made plans on his date night which made Zander very flustered.
"WHAT! THATSSOEMBARRASSINGOMGG NO" he said turning pink and putting his head into his hands
"Yeah they told me they just went to the pub and fantasised about what you looked like" he sighed
"To be fair, glad they did, it would be more embarrassing in the morning, as they'd just be teasing me" he laughed
"That would have been great to watch" his date smirked
In return the auburn haired male turned red and laughed.
The two got off from the train and made the small walk back to Zanders,and opened the door.
They went into Zanders bedroom and the purple haired male flopped onto his bed sighing.
"I am so tirrrreeeed" he moaned watching like as he sat next to him on the bed.
"Yeah, we'll too bad, cuz I wanna talk" he joked,pulling Zander up.
"Talk, or kiss me?" He joked
"Because from my experience ,when you say talk, we talk for five minutes and then we are making out" he joked.
"Maybe both?" Luke pouted, opening his arms for Zander to sit next to him.
He did and the two joined their lips together into a kiss
It went on for a while, the two release ong content hums from their mouths,and deep exhales and inhaled from their noses. They didn't want to stop, they really did love eachother.
After about five minutes, Zander broke the kiss and leant his head on Luke's shoulder, which earned a kiss on the head from Luke, as he leaned on the wall next to the bed.

"I had a great time" the perrywinkle eyed male smiled,leaning into Luke. Luke agreed and snaked his arm round his date .
Zander spoke up after a While, noticably more anxious than before,fiddling with his fingers. His date locked up on this and asked, "what's up? You ok?"
Zander snapped out of his mini trance and quickly said "oh! Yea yeah! Just thinking!"
"About what?"
"Umm.. well, you know how on our last date..we said that we'd talk about being official on the next date?"
Luke looked down at him,nodding
"Well, I know it's only been three dates, and that's not long, but I think, we know quite a lot about eachother and we could try it out?" He mumbled,Luke almost not hearing him.
Like paused for a second, before kissing Zanders check and saying
"I'd love to try it out,we'll see how it goes, and if we feel we should step neck a bit,we can, but as of now,I'd love to be your boyfriend,Zander"
Zander grinned ,so much making his mouth hurt,and leaned up to kiss Luke on the lips.
Luke accepted and cupped his cheek and waist.
Another long night? Possibly
