(GRIEGO COUSINS #1)
Seven years after his mother's tragic death, Angelus Griego's father, Simon Griego, made a life-changing decision to marry a wealthy businesswoman with a troubled past and a sick child. Angelus, known for his charm, intelligence...

My therapy and studies continued as usual.
He is a lunatic. I knew it. I was in good hands, according to his father, who described him as a gentleman. However, the truth is that that man was a nutcase. Who in their right mind would behave and speak in such a manner to someone they barely know?
I'm just glad he's not here all the time. Bago pa ako magising, nakaalis na siya. Hindi namin siya nakakasabay sa breakfast. I heard from Papa Simon that Kuya Angelus is busy because he is closing a deal.
Based on what I heard from the maids, Kuya Angelus just finished his MBA this year and is now managing one of his father's companies. They said he was smart and a shark when it came to business.
"How can you say that he's a shark in the business world if he just graduated?" hindi ko na napigilang makisabat sa usapan ng isa sa mga katulong at ni nurse Krista.
Sabay silang napatingin sa akin. I just hate hearing them talk so highly of that man. I want to tell them that he's fake. Na nasa loob ang kulo niya. But I'm sure they won't believe me.
I sneered. He probably liked power and money so much kaya kahit na bata pa siya, pinilit niyang matuto at tumulong.
"Anyone can do that if they don't have a choice. He probably continued helping Papa Simon because he liked power and money. Men like him would do anything for dominance!" I said without a filter.
I didn't mind the shocked stares of my nurse and Lei. They looked like they just heard something unbelievable, and I was too mean to say those words.
"You shouldn't believe what you see. You can only fully know someone once you're left alone and have a deeper conversation. But don't even expect something deep from that man. He's a con, I'm telling you," I continued.
I shrugged. "Bahala ka. Ayaw mong maniwala. I'm just telling you this to burst your fantasy. Kuya Angelus is not what you think."
Nurse Krista swallowed hard while watching me mutter things.
