"I'm sorry, I have family coming into town tonight" I apologize to Mandy.

"Well can't you just get out of it" she whines.

"No this part of my family is extra important to me" I smirk.

"Well have fun, call me if you need anything" she sighs.

"Carter's home" my 4 year old sister runs towards me.

"Hey my little cutie pie" I lift her into the air effortlessly.

"Carter do you have a girlfriend" she giggles.

"No Ellie"

"I made a new friend today" she claps her hands together.

"That's amazing" I smile.

"He's good at art"

"A boy, is it your boyfriend" I tickle her sides.

"No he's ugly, I wanna friend only" she giggles again.

"Let's go cook you some dinner" she wraps her tiny arms around my neck. I carry her to the kitchen.

"Hey mom" I smile as I place Ellie on her chair.

"How was your day sweety" she smiles.

"It was alright" I shrug.

"Carter has a girlfriend" I hear Ellie shout.

"He does" my mom smirks.

"No mom she's wrong, I just met a new person today, nothing special" I lie.

"He has a girlfriend and I made a new friend he's good at art" Ellie had to much energy.

"Looks like Ellie has a boyfriend" I smile.

"No Carter" she puts her face in her hands.

"Okay enough, let's just enjoy dinner" my mom places pasta infront of me.

"Why are we eating so early" I shove some pasta in my mouth.

"Ellie has a check up with the doctor"

"I'm not going" Ellie crosses her hands over her chest.

"Yes you are honey" my mom smiles.

"Nuh uh" she pouts.

"Hey cutie pie, if you go, I'll let you have some chocolate tomorrow" I face my little angel.

"Yummy, candy" she cheers. "I guess I have to go now, I want candy"

"Thank you" my mom mouths to me.

As soon as I hear the car drive away I grab the folded piece of paper and dial the number.

"Hey" I hear her angelic voice.

"This is Nora right" I ask. Of course it's her.

"Yeah, sorry this is...?"

"Carter" I smile, she couldn't even see my face.

"You woke me up" she yawns.

"It's only 5:30, but I'm alone" I smirk.

"And" she pauses. "Oh ya right well I'm busy right now"

"You are" I sigh.

"Yes babysitting my brother and all"

"How old is he" I ask.

"I think he's 13" why didn't she know her siblings age.

"You don't know, why does he need a baby sitter if he's that old" I argue.

"Don't ask me, my parents think he's becoming a punk" she giggles. So cute.

"A punk ey" I laugh along with her.

"I guess so, listen I gotta go but I'll call you later tonight"

"Yeah alright, talk to you later sexy" I smirk.

"Ugh, bye" I heard her chuckle.

I guess I'll be going out with mandy.

"Hey" I sigh through the phone.

"I thought you had a family thing" she snaps. Did I really want to mess with her tonight?

"I did but then I thought of how much you mean to me, I had to beg to leave" I lie like a rug.

"I'm glad you realized your mistake" she speaks slowly.

"I'm glad I did to, I'll be over in ten minutes" I smile.

"I'll be waiting"

"Carter I thought you stayed home" my mom walks towards me when I enter the house.

"I was, I got an important call and had to leave"

"Oh well could you say good night to Ellie, she won't go to bed unless you do" she grabs my hand.

"Yes ma" I start to walk up the stairs.

"Carter were you with a girl" I stop in my tracks.

"No ma, why" I turn to face her.

"Uhm...no..nothing don't worry about it" she looks to the floor.

"No what, it seems important" I walk back down the few steps I made it up.

"I thought you were with a girl, your father use to do that, well he said I was the one who stopped him. But I guess we both forgot about that since the..." She stops.

"Mom, I'm not gonna be like dad, I won't mess everything up in the big leagues" I comfort her.

"I know I'm just scared is all" she brushes it off.

"Well have a good rest I'm going to put Ellie to bed" I rub her arm quickly.

"You do that, I think I'm gonna go out for a while, don't wait up"

"Okay" I didn't want to hold her back.

I continue my way to my sisters room.

"Ellie, what the hell" I scream, When I see her on the floor.

"I'm sorry, I broke the chair" she was crying.

"Don't worry about the chair, are you okay" I run over to her.

"My ankle" she whales.

"Did you hurt your ankle" she nods.

"Maybe a sleep would make it feel better" I try.

"Maybe" she yawns, she was still shaking with fear.

"Let's snuggle" I lay beside her untill she fell asleep. I hear my phone ringing.

"Uhm..hello"

"Hey Carter" Nora speaks through the phone.

"what's up babe" I smirk.

"I wanted some company, plus you told me to call later and now is later so..."

"oh right almost forgot" I would never forget her.

"Did you" I hear her chuckle.

"Ya just got back from a hook up" I state proudly.

"With who" she sounded jealous.

"Mandy, don't be jealous"

"Jealous of that slut, never" she scoffs.

"Whatever you say sexy" I smirk.

"Hooking up with different girls isn't attractive you know" she sighs.

"Did it seem like I gave a fuck" I yawn.

"Nope, it was my way of saying that you turned me off" she yawns aswell.
