Nora's POV

Aubrey had talked to me earlier about her and Miles and had decided to give it a try with him. She felt like she had gotten to know him better than she knew River.

"Nora, I assume you need a ride home" River jogs towards me.

"Don't you have practice?" I ask.

"I'll skip it" he shrugs it off like it's nothing.

"No you should go" I tell him.

"I'm fine right here with you" he grabs my hands pulling me to his motorcycle.

"River, thank you" I didn't know why I was thanking him.

"No problem" he smiles and hands me the helmet.

"Where's your helmet"

"Don't need one, I'm a professional" he smirks.

"As if" I scoff.

"I'll be fine, I don't get hurt" he hopped onto the bike. I slowly wrapped my arms around his waist pulling myself closer into his back. I took in how great he smelt and I rested my head against his back.

As we pulled out I couldn't help but notice Carter opening his passenger door for a girl I had never seen before. The jealousy picked up really quickly. He took a glance in River and I's direction, His relaxed face slowly turned into a face of anger he got his car slamming the door shut as River drove down the street away from the school.

"What's up with you and Nora" I ask River.

"Nothing bro, why did she say something about me?" His smile fades.

"No, she didn't" I cross my arms over my chest.

"Why would she" I glare at him.

"She's had a rough day today, I helped her out" he shrugs.

"What happened to her" my face goes from anger to concern.

"Family drama in her house, I saw her when I left my house this morning. She lives down the street from me I heard her yelling all morning" he frowns.

"Oh, shit" I sigh.

"What did you do"

"I was being an ass like usual" I stalk off to my class.

"Shoot" I hear a girl yell.

"Raelyn, are you okay" I walk over to her.

"Uhm, yeah my car just broke down" she sighs.

"I'll give you a ride" I take her hand bringing her to my car.

"Nora, lets go" I see her walking hand in hand with River. I was beyond pissed.

"Raelyn, you're coming over" I demand.

"Sure Carter" she makes a move to kiss me, I open the car door so it's between us. Nora was staring in our direction and I didn't want to kiss anyone else in front of her.

"Raelyn babe, let's get out of here" I rush her into the car.

"Carter, is anyone at your house" Raelyn asks trailing her finger down my chest.

"No babe, we'll be alone" I smirk.

"Perfect" I continue the long drive back to my place.

"Ohh shit, not again" I curse.

"Everything okay" Raelyn asks.

"We can't go to my house" I snap. When I see his car in the drive way.

"Why not?" She giggles.

"My Dad's back in town" I growl.

"Come to my place" she quickly speaks.

"I guess we could" I agree to go over.

"Make a left at the next street" she says just as we miss where I was supposed to turn

"You missed the turn" she yells.

"We'll find another way to your house" I shrug and continue to drive.

"Is that River" Raelyn yells. I stop the car so fast we both jerked forward.

"Where" I grit my teeth.

"He's kissing some girl" she points toward him. Was that Nora. Holy shit, not gonna happen budy.

Nora :p

"Thanks so much River" I smile sweetly at him.

"No problem hun" he kisses my cheek then pulling back slowly.

"Nora, I know we haven't talked in a while" he starts "I think you're amazing and I really want to do this" he pauses then continues to place his lips on mine. I didn't even get to react because he had barley touched my lips before being shoved into the wall of my porch.

"Carter" I ask in disbelief. He ignores me.

"Woah we got a problem man" River shouts.

"We won't if you leave her alone" Carter points towards me.

"What's with this claim you have on her? You're jealous" River smirks at his friend.

"I'm not" Carter loosens his grip on River.

"Then why do you care so much"

"I just....just leave her alone" Carter walks past me brushing my shoulder.

"Carter I'm not gonna obey your stupid rules, I like her there's nothing I can do about it" River smirks.

"What ever man" he sighs as he makes his way back to his car storming off into the distance.

"I..you should go" I tell River.

"I'll pick you tomorrow" River asks

"Sure" I smile.
