Before She could say anything, Wyatt walked over to the counter and put on his apron. After a few minutes of pretending to prepare the ingredients, he called Kimberly over. When it was all said and done, he taught her how to make Salisbury steak, homemade macaroni, potatoes, and cream-style peas. Afterwards, they both sat down in the living room and ate together and it was quite an experience for Wyatt. That evening he watched Kimberly eat what was probably twice her weight in food. She thanked him once more and complimented him on everything, before falling asleep on the couch. Wyatt used this opportunity to do the dishes and mop the floor. Afterward, he went out to his car, grabbed his manuscripts, and sat up in her office making the revisions to the digital version that he would submit for publishing once the final draft was done.

Wyatt had been working for an hour when he heard a lot of racket and groaning from upstairs. When got there, he found Kimberly on the floor, mouth covered in residue, as he walked further in, he saw a lock box with an assortment of pills in it. He shook his head and quickly took the box and all its contents, ran into Kimberly's bathroom, and began dumping them into the toilet. Hearing this, 2she pulled herself to her feet and ran in there, pushed him aside, and attempted to grab the pills but to no avail. Wyatt overpowered her and dumped the pills before flushing them for good.

She began to tear up before she screamed "Why the fuck would you do that!" and he said, "Just look at what that shit is doing to you". She sighed and said, "So what, you would like for me to die anyways, then you'd have no more obligation and no more bullshit from a devilish girl who made your life hell".He said"It's not like that at all" and she said, "Sure sounded like what you said earlier".He sighed and said"The hug caught me off guard and I just spit that out to break the tension, truth is even though I resent you, I still care about you, I just didn't want you to know that because I'm still reluctant to trust you with my feelings okay!" He cupped her cheek looks into her eyes and says"ill be your happiness if it means you'll kick this habit and recover".Before she could say anything, she rushed over to the toilet and proceeded to throw up".

He rushed over and held her hair until she stopped. He said"I'll let you get cleaned up before he rushed out of the bathroom and back downstairs to the living room. He quickly grabbed his pillow and pulled the blanket over him as his heart began to pound and despite being wound up he drifted off to sleep relatively fast. As for Kimberly, she relaxed in the bath until her heart calmed down and then went to bed later.

By the next morning, he had regained his composure and was ready for another day of teaching whilst working on his book. Kimberly woke up early along with Wyatt but she was too nervous to go downstairs until she heard the front door open and close. The sun had just barely risen and she was wondering where he was going...was he leaving her? Her anxiety got the best of her and she found herself getting dressed and heading out as well only to be startled by a voice behind her, it was Wyatt's.

He smiled and said, "I thought you might join me...here's another lesson you should learn and that's to stop and poke your head up so often or you might miss beautiful moments like this". "It's moments like this that make you realize that it's such a blessing to see another sunrise of another day and it makes me realize that with the rising of this sun, comes another day to make your goals even closer in reach". Kimberly hugged him and said"Wyatt, I'm sorry about last night...please help me, please, I'll do everything you tell but help me get my life together". He smiled and said, "alright, we'll start first thing today".

Over the course of the next 4 weeks, Wyatt and Kimberly worked together as a team. She attended therapy and began taking medication.in addition to this, Wyatt taught her how to cook a new dish each day and get into the habit of being clean and organized as an editor should. They also worked on the manuscript and with teamwork it had been approved by the other team members and was ready for submission. Kimberly was very happy with her life except for one thing...something that happened during these 4 weeks of living and working in close proximity to Wyatt. The thing that upset her was the fact that she had fallen in love with Wyatt again without knowing it and with very little resistance from her brain, In fact, it felt like her entire body was conspiring against her.

Instead of falling mainly for his looks, this time she had fallen for him inside out. She loved how attentive he was to her well-being and feelings and how he never blamed her for anything...except the past thing. She loved how patient he was and how he always paid attention to what was above her neck and not below. She knew he found her attractive as sometimes when she wore tank tops with no bra and exercise shorts, he would blush hard. Despite that, he never did anything creepy, he never ogled her and he was always thinking in her best interest no matter what they did. But most of all, he listened and he praised her for every little step that she took.

He always was there whether it was to sit up and talk to her when she had her night terrors, help her when her period got too overwhelming, or simply watch a terribly sappy movie, he did it even though it embarrassed him. Though unconventional, he still achieved his goals which were to rehabilitate Kimberly and finish his story. To him, that was the total culmination of his work, nothing more, nothing less and he was completely unaware that he had lit a fire in Kimberly's heart and it would soon be uncontrollable.
