"Have I allowed you to enter?"

Jisung had to admit that Yeonjun made him swallow his tongue but this man in front of him was a different story, he forgot how to breathe for a second.

The atmosphere of the room sent Jisung's already cold body to shivers, a heavy weight started to push against the boy's chest making it sting.

Everything was vintage in the room, from antiques to the walls. Even the man in front of himself. Jisung's eyes roamed at the navy suit that had a pair of navy vests hugging what seemed to be his fit body. The black tie was wrapped around the man's neck, he made the outfit perfect, and he bet that this suit was hand-tailored especially for him.

"I asked you a question." The guy got up and made his way toward the speechless boy, he couldn't rat out the boys, but he wasn't the one who even wanted to be there. So, he just decided to play along because he was already in this deep.

"My apologies, Sir, I was in the wrong." He immediately bowed down but kept his eyes on the floor, trying to avoid those eyes, it made him weak in a bad way.

He knew that if he placed his gaze into the man's eyes, he would crumble and fall into little space, the way he looked at Jisung though made his mind start diving into the gutter.

Han's eyes roamed towards the man's hand, making him gulp at the sight. He could see how his veins were almost popping out of the skin, his hands crossed over his arms as he cleared his throat to make the boy's attention avert immediately to his eyes.

"Give me a good reason why I should hire you." It was a simple question, but Han's mind was empty, there were multiple different answers to this question. The catch is there are no wrong nor right answers, it all depends on how the boss and his prescription whether Han could be a great employee.

"I go all out and risk myself because I have nothing to lose," Jisung stated the truth, he has nothing left in his life other than his Hyungs. He lost everything the day his mom passed away, a warm loving home, his father, and a chance to grow out normal.

His father made him feel as if he was a freak, a burden that he was forced to take care of. He is glad Chan checked up on him that day, what if he didn't? he is sure that he won't be breathing this second.

"That's new." The man chuckled as he leaned back against his desk, he didn't expect this answer. It's always "I'm fit for this job" or "I have a great sense of leadership and work hard" What caught the man's attention was how dark the boy's eyes got as if the truth could be reflected to him. he kept his gaze fixated on the boss's not until a scoffed left the man's lips.

He loved how Jisung eyes immediately sparkled as he looked back down shyly, no one dared to make eye contact with him this long. The boss reached behind him grabbed his empty mug and handed it to the now-confused boy. Jisung reached out with a confused face and looked at the man ahead of him, looking at him startled by this weird gesture.

"I prefer non-sweet hot coffee." He turned around and sat on the chair, shifting his focus back to the documents at hand. Jisung body reacted by itself and headed towards the door. He was zoned out, but a hand immediately rested on his shoulder and felt his body starting to shake.

"So? How did it go?" an excited little Kai asked with eyes filled with hope. He got attached to this squirrel boy the second he laid his eyes on him, and so did the rest of the group but Soobin was a little uncertain case.

"Did you pass? Has the devil had a bit of mercy on you?" the three employees surrounded the dazed boy.

Jisung slowly turned his head toward the boys and asked, "Where is the coffee machine?" people usually leave the door cursing out or crying their eyes out, it was rare to see someone getting accepted and for this random person getting out of the place asking for a coffee was mind-boggling.
