While listening to the morning news, I felt a change coming on. While I was focused on listening to the news report about the disappearance of a female student that was aired on TV, I suddenly felt pain in my eyes.

I immediately closed my eyes and when I opened them again, the dark and empty world that had previously existed was instantly filled with bright light. In front of my eyes, there was a moving green blob. The color green... My husband once told me that our curtains were green. Has my sight been restored?!

However, in my excitement, I accidentally dropped the glass of milk. I saw the spilled white liquid on the floor...

"The girl reported missing was wearing a white uniform, blue canvas shoes. If anyone has any information, please call the number..."

The sound of the television could still be heard. Wilson, who was wiping the floor behind me, approached me with full attention, "What happened?"

I grabbed my husband's hand, wanting to tell him that my vision had returned. However, when I looked at him, I was immediately transfixed.

On Wilson's back, I saw the faint outline of someone attached. I shook my head, trying to see it again, and the figure was still there. It was like looking at something through a glass fog. I felt disappointed. It turned out that my eyesight hadn't fully recovered, my vision was still blurry.

"It's okay, just accidentally dropped the glass," I said.

It's better not to say it now. I'll look into the condition for a few more days before telling him the happy news.

Dr. Wilson asked me, "Are you feeling unwell because you're pregnant?" I nodded my head, "Maybe."

My heart melted at the thought of the child in my womb. When I approached to hug my husband, he pushed me away.

"Wait, Eren, I'm wiping the floor."

Just as I expected. During our three years of marriage, Wilson never let me hug him. I didn't force him, so I said "oh".

Wilson has all his limbs complete and healthy, while I am blind. Because he accepted my shortcomings, I had to accept his unique habits. For example, no hugging or sleeping in separate rooms. Or even likes to wear a raincoat. I've never seen it in person, but I've washed it many times. It's an overall raincoat with a big hat that perfectly covers the head and the whole body.

I woke up to the sound of the heavy rain, which was streaking after a long night's sleep. Faintly, I saw white sheets, cream-colored cabinets, and curtains dancing in the wind.

At that moment, my heart stopped for a moment, and I held my breath. Even the dark color of the rainwater marks on the floor was visible to my eyes. I moved my fingers in front of my eyes, and I could see them clearly! My sight had been restored!

Then, there was the sound of the door being opened from outside, "Ceklek". It must be Wilson coming back after buying breakfast! Happily, I threw the blanket off the bed and rushed out of the room barefoot.

"Wilson!" I wanted to tell him this good news as soon as possible. But, when I reached the bedroom door, I froze like I'd been splashed with cold water.

I saw my husband opening a very large box in the warmly decorated living room. Wilson stood behind me, wearing a large black raincoat that covered his entire body without any gaps.

As I expected, his body was erect. I saw a woman lying inside the opened box. She was wearing a white uniform and blue canvas shoes... Her skin was bruised, her body stiff. In an instant, I who had learned nursing was convinced that she was lifeless.

I froze in place, my body feeling like it had been struck by lightning. The news I heard echoed in my ears. Was it my husband who had killed this woman...? I tried to call out to him, but not a single word came out of my mouth.

Suddenly, a hand emerged from Wilson's raincoat. Wait, wasn't he opening the box with both hands? When the hat came off, I saw a man's face hidden inside. That face smiled as soon as it saw me. Then, he took out his other hand holding bread and soy milk from inside his raincoat.

This... this...

This sight was much scarier than encountering a ghost. I panicked and took a few steps back. Realization soon struck. All the weirdness that had been happening all this time became clear now.

I finally understood why Wilson never slept with me and wouldn't let me near him. It turned out that he and his brother were conjoined twins. I didn't even know which one was Wilson.

The man in front of me was looking at me seriously at the moment. Perhaps he sensed my abnormality. He left his breakfast and called out to the man who was unpacking a cardboard box behind him. As they turned around, I saw the other man's face. His eyebrows were pitch black, his skin slightly darker. From his appearance, this man looked honest and kind. I was sure he was Wilson.

And sure enough, he released the corpse from his grasp and asked me, "Eren, are you awake?"

The voice was very familiar. However, I didn't respond.

He asked again, "Why are you shaking?"

I felt Wilson getting suspicious, "Eren, have your eyes recovered?" I kept shaking my head as I realized that I was crying.

Wilson approached me quickly, worry in his eyes. "Speak up, can you see?"

For fear of being exposed, I pretended to be in pain and said, "I... my stomach hurts..."

"Stomach ache?" He asked. I nodded, pretending to be blind and just staring ahead unfocused.

Now, I saw the dead woman's face clearly. There was a long scar on her face. I remember, I recognize this person.

"Eren, you're bleeding," Wilson said in a tone that disturbed my mind.

When I lowered my head, I saw blood flowing from under my nightgown. My heart raced, my vision blurred, and I finally passed out.
