I was lying on the bed in my room. As usual, Wilson took a chair and sat beside the bed. Without saying a word, he patted my body gently. Nelson who was behind him couldn't help but speak, "Well, usually I can still play with my cell phone, but tonight I have absolutely no desire to see it."

The first time I saw Nelson, I was trembling with fear, but now, I wasn't afraid at all. I recalled my first meeting with Wilson, until we became friends and ended up living together.

At first, I tripped over her feet on a rainy day and gave her an umbrella. Later, she always appeared when I faced difficulties. When I was about to fall, there was always a pair of strong hands supporting me; when I lost my keys and fell to the ground, there was always someone to help pick them up; when I felt followed, there was always the sound of a man running in fear. After I thought about it, it seemed to be Nelson's snapping voice.

Then one day, when that man saved me, he took my hand and said he wanted to take care of me. Just now I remembered, he didn't say "forever" back then. "What would you do if one day I could see again?" I asked softly.

Wilson shook his head, "I dare not think about it, maybe I will run away."

"Now I can see, but I don't see you running away." Nelson continued, "We already want to escape, go to prison for a free meal." I could only laugh.

Suddenly, remembering the condition of my eyes, I asked, "I could suddenly see, then lost my sight again, and now I can see again. Was it you?"

I started to get suspicious of Nelson. Dr. Wilson explained, "No, it's probably the effects of the abortion drugs. Your body is responding to it, so your vision is temporarily restored. I've consulted with the doctor, you still need to undergo a corneal transplant to fully restore your vision."

I nodded, "I have wrongly accused Nelson."

Nelson raised his hand, "I'm being slandered!"

Wilson told me, "After coming home from drinking, I bought you short-term birth control pills for the next day, but you still got pregnant." I stroked my flat stomach and said, "Birth control pills aren't 100% effective either, I'm a match for this child, but it's a bad match, I shouldn't give birth to it."

Wilson nodded, "Just like us, even though we are soul mates, our soul mates are too shallow."

I didn't speak, just smiled bitterly inside.

"Get some sleep, Eren. Staying up late is not good for your health." I nodded, "Tomorrow I will accompany you to surrender."

Wilson replied softly, "Hm." After turning off the bedside lamp, they both walked out of the room. When they reached the door and were about to close it, Wilson said, "Good night, Eren." Nelson said, "Good night, brother-in-law."

Because of the light from the living room, I couldn't see their expressions clearly, just two human shadows illuminated by the light. Like an older brother holding his younger brother. I said, "Good night."

As soon as I closed my eyes, my tears flowed freely.

The next day, I was woken up by the sound of the phone beside my bed. "Hello, is this Miss Eren?"

"Yes, who is this with?"

"I'm from the insurance company, there was a car accident in the west of the city, the Siamese couple who just turned themselves in has died."

...

"Because in their wills, they state that if they die due to illness or accident, all inheritance and compensation money will be given to Eren Angsari, so please come to the company immediately."
