Wilson and Nelson turned to each other, their eyes meeting. "Come on, sis," they said in unison. Wilson nodded his head. "Let's go."

I looked at them with fear filling my heart... However, Wilson handed me the headset with a smile. "It's okay, just listen to the song."

They both walked out of the room. I heard the sound of the door being locked. They also locked my bedroom door from the outside. When I took off my headset, the sound of punches came from outside the room. Blow after blow, pain struck and my heart raced.

I got out of bed, tried to open the window, and called for help. However, my eyes fell on something inside the drawer of the bedside table. It looked blurry, like a pink-colored box. Unconsciously, I let go of the handle of the curtain I was holding up. I got closer, and it turned out to be a medicine box.

I picked it up, and I finally recognized the medicine box after observing it carefully under the lamplight. This was abortion medicine. Quickly, I opened it, and found it empty. Thoughts flew to the incident of my miscarriage that had occurred.

Was it Wilson who gave me the abortion medicine? Why would he want to terminate my pregnancy? My thoughts were getting more and more muddled, and my memories of the dead Laorencia, the abortion medicine in front of me, and Wilson's gentle demeanor...

I realized there was an important event in the chain of events that I didn't know about. I tried to recall my relationship with Wilson in detail. He had always refused to be intimate with me, our marriage was just about living together.

We just held hands and occasionally kissed (Wilson always held my arm tightly, so I wouldn't touch any other part of her), but we never went any further.

Before marriage, she said that she had a physical disability, and might not be able to give a normal married life.

I didn't mind at all. Even though she didn't want a sexual relationship, I tried to accept it and never pushed. I got pregnant because Maggie took me out drinking back then. It was my first time drinking wine, so I easily got drunk.

I don't remember what happened that night, I just remember Maggie giving me to Wilson. Maybe because I was drunk, Wilson became attracted to me and forgot about his physical disability so we spent a different night.

Not long after, I got pregnant. On second thought, Wilson didn't seem happy when he found out I was pregnant. Our intimacy only lasted that night, and after that, we never shared such intimate moments again.

Is it possible... The memory of Maggie asking me out for a drink and then suddenly disappearing made my mind wander. I didn't try to call for help again, but kept knocking on my bedroom door.

"Open the door!"

"Please, open the door now!"

The beating sound outside stopped.

I heard Wilson cough, and he said, "Don't open the door."

Nelson replied, "Open the door, he's not as weak as you think."

"I don't want her to see any of this."

"You have to show her. She'll have to deal with all this when you're gone."

I shouted, "Wilson, please open the door!"

"Don't worry, I won't be afraid. I already know what you mean by this."

I'm not really afraid of her anymore. I seemed to have guessed what was really going on. Finally, the door opened slowly. I saw a man lying in the living room. My vision was still blurry, but I stepped forward and watched his face closely. Surprisingly, in just half an hour, I no longer felt the slightest fear.

Although it wasn't very clear, I could still recognize her. She was Laorencia's "friend" who had been interested in me during college. I couldn't remember her name, but I still recognized her even though her face had turned to ash.

The situation made my legs weak, and Wilson immediately supported my body. Without thinking, I immediately let go of his embrace. Wilson's body became tense, it seemed like he was offended by my actions. However, I didn't have time to think about that right now, my attention was still on the man's face. I just realized that my voice was hoarse as I spoke, "Is Maggie's name fake?"

Wilson nodded, "Her real name is Mary."

Mary... Yes, that girl who was with Laorencia when she locked me in the warehouse. Back then, she was a follower of Laorencia. Because she did not stand out, my memories of her were not as deep as those of Laorencia. So when she used the name "Maggie" to approach me, the events of that year did not cross my mind at all.

"So, when he asked me out for a drink, the person who picked me up when I was drunk wasn't you, was it?" Wilson just coughed and said nothing. Nelson became angry, "Mary really deserved to die! She called my brother and lied, she said you fell and had been taken to the hospital, she also lied about some hospital names, we looked for you all night, but when we got home, Mary brought you home in rumpled clothes."

His tone was exasperated, "These criminals have been making fun of us. If I had legs, I'd kill them!"

Wilson said, "I'm useless."

The current me is not emotional, not scared and not hysterical like before. She continued, "At first, I wanted to kill them all, but they gave me a lot of money."

"I accepted it, because I want to buy a house for you. And if there is a suitable cornea transplant, you can also have the surgery. In my and Nelson's condition, we'll never be able to earn that three hundred million in our entire lives."

I stared blankly at the wall, "Are you afraid that I won't accept you after I undergo a cornea transplant with the money you received?"

Nelson turned his face and smiled, "Sister-in-law, don't think too much about it. We don't have long to live, being able to live this far is already a miracle for us. Lately, my brother's lungs have started to have problems, and my heart too."

"Why is it like this?!" My heart is aching, which is why Wilson has been coughing a lot lately.

"That is destiny. The important thing is that we know and can accept it. I don't feel sad at all. Besides, I'm satisfied that I was able to kill some of those bad guys before I died."

"But my brother feels sad, he's worried about you." Although I couldn't see Wilson's face clearly, I could feel the man's guilt and despair. I said with a troubled heart, "Let's go to the hospital, there must be treatment for your lungs and heart. We can request surgery to separate your bodies."

"We have sought out many doctors, if it was possible to separate, we would have tried long ago. Our lives won't be long, the lungs and heart are just the beginning of the problem, our organs have already started to stop functioning."

While talking, Wilson's cell phone alarm suddenly went off. "Eren, time for bed."

She set the alarm for me at ten o'clock at night. Since I couldn't tell the difference between day and night, she would remind me to go to bed on time every night. Since I often had insomnia due to not knowing the time, she would take a chair and sit beside the bed, pat my body gently, and coax me to sleep.

Tonight, she said as usual, "You sleep first, I'll clean the house and turn myself in tomorrow." Since I was feeling tired, I just nodded my head and said, "Alright."
