A week has passed by and it was the day Asami was gonna leave republic city. Everyone close to her were there saying there goodbyes. Asami who was now wearing a magenta shirt and dark red skirt as well as a magenta bonnet. "I'm sorry for this Asami besure to write soon." Hiroshi said as she hugged her father before kissing him on the head.

Hiroshi then pulled away as Asami finally turned to see Korra who was wearing a new outfit which was a white button up shirt with a navy blue tie wearing a light blue suit jacket and brown pants with black shoes, Mako who was now wearing a dark red, and burgundy uniform, burgundy epaulets decorated with golden strings beige trouser pants with black boots sporting a burgundy bandolier around his chest hiding his medal. Bolin ( who was now also a part of the city's protectors along with his brother) was wearing the same thing except his uniform was green and dark green uniform with dark green epaulets with silver strings with dark green trouser pants and black boots with a dark green bandolier.

"I'm gonna miss you guys." Asami said as she went to hug Bolin. "We're gonna miss you too and don't worry we'll write to you everyday."Bolin said as he reciprocated the hug as she pulled away before she went to go hug Mako. "Yeah we'll be here waiting." Mako said as he hugged her before she pulled away and made her way to korra. "For as long as it takes." Korra said as Asami hugged her which she reciprocated. "Don't ever stop playing okay." Asami told Korra as she nodded. "Bolin always follow your heart and Mako don't stop fighting for what's right." Asami said to Mako and Bolin.

"Here I actually have a gift for you." Korra said as she held a book in her hands. "Wait, we were supposed to bring gifts." Bolin asked Mako,Korra and Asami as they laughed. Korra handed her the book as Asami looked over to see it was a book about engineering. "I know you always mentioned about engineering and building new things so I think this book might bring you comfort. There's also a little message on the front page: read it when you miss us." Korra said as Asami held the book close to her heart.

"Thank you." Asami said. "Would've been nice to know we were supposed to bring something." Bolin said grumpily. "It's fine Bolin, actually I have something for you too." Asami said as she had a tall present for Korra. "This is to make up for your guitar breaking in the stampede." Asami said as she handed the present to Korra as suddenly the conductor spoke up. "All aboard!'" He said as the four friend group finally realized that this was their final goodbye. Asami saddened as she realized she was gonna leave her friends. "I gotta go." Asami said holding the book Korra gave her as she left to board her train leaving a devastated Mako,Bolin and Korra.

"Don't forget me." Asami yelled back as her bonnet fell off her in the process. "Asami your bonnet." Mako said immediately going after it as Korra and Bolin stayed behind as he watched Korra open her gift which was a brand new classical guitar made of wood, it had drawings of yellow stars, sacred hearts, and a skull with blue wings on it. With the head having five silver heart-shaped tuning pegs and one golden skull-shaped. "Woah Asami got you a cool new guitar." Bolin said as Korra held her new guitar and saw a little message. "Always play from the heart, love Asami." Korra read as she smiled and hugged the guitar. "What did you write in her book?" Bolin asked curiously. "Something that I hope she finds comfort in." Korra said.

Asami was now seated in the train cart. She looked at the book Korra gave her and opened the front page to see what Korra wrote. " Asami, may your journey be filled with adventure and discovery. I'll be counting the days until you return. - Korra." Asami read as she smiled sadly just then the train slowly started moving as Asami slowly started tearing up until she heard a voice call out to her.

"Asami!!" The voice said as Asami pressed against the window to see Korra running with Bolin running behind her as the train started moving. "When you come back I will sing for you." Korra said holding her new guitar as Mako who was also running passed Korra and Bolin holding Asami's bonnet. "And I will fight for you!!" Mako said as the train started going faster.
