I Love you too much

In celebration for Asami's return, Hiroshi hosted a party for her daughter. It was also in celebration for Mako who had just returned from protecting another city. "Ladies and Gentlemen, we are here to celebrate my daughter's return and to honor our hero Mako!" Hiroshi said cheerfully as the crowd cheered and applauded as everyone went back to talking meanwhile Mako, Bolin and Asami were gathered in a corner catching up on lost time.

"It's so good to see you guys again. Bolin, how have you been?" Asami asked. "I've been good while Mako has been gone protecting other cities and towns. I've been here to protect the city and our people. But it wasn't the same without you Asami." Bolin said. "Yeah it's great to have you back." Mako said. "It's great to be back, look at you Mako being the city's protector and all the medals you got. Which one is that one?"Asami said, pointing at the medal of everlasting life Mako wore under his bandolier.

"Oh that it's nothing special." Mako said. "But it looks so special. Where did you get it?" Asami said persistently but before Mako could tell her Bolin jumped in changing the subject. "So Anyways, how was the all girls academy?" Bolin said, jumping in. "Yeah tell us?" Mako said glad that his brother helped him.

Asami smiled before she started talking about how it went, her classes, friends she made and also how she learned to defend herself and took classes on engineering as she remembered the book Korra gave her. "Sounds like you had fun." Bolin said. "Yeah at least you didn't have to overcome fighting any bad guys like we did." Mako said not knowing he offended her.

"No challenges to overcome? What do you mean by that?" Asami questioned slowly losing patience as Mako continued. "I'm just saying your life was easy and you didn't have to worry about something dangerous coming after you." Mako said. "So you're saying that I can't protect myself." Asami said as Mako realized what he had said. "No that's not what-" Mako was about to explain but Asami had enough.

"Excuse me for a moment, I think I need some fresh air." Asami said leaving the party and heading to her room as Mako and Bolin watched as she left. Mako was about to go after he and try to talk to her but Hiroshi approached them. "Is everything alright?" He asked. Mako sighed shaking his head no. "Give her space in the meantime. Come there's people that would like to talk and meet you." Hiroshi said as Mako followed, meanwhile Bolin stayed behind trying to ease the atmosphere with an awkward forced smile.

While this was happening Wu,Tahno and Baatar Jr were holding their instruments and walking with Korra as they reached Asami's mansion. "Still can't believe Hiroshi invited everyone but not Korra." Wu said. "Yeah he even invited us but we refused as we don't wanna leave our friend behind." Tahno said, patting Korra's back. "It's hopeless I've lost her to Mako." Korra said, sighing in defeat.

"With that kind of attitude you will." Baatar Jr said. "Okay I got it why don't you try to play her a song, it has to be romantic and catch her attention." Wu said as Korra looked up at Asami's room which had a small balcony as the lights turned on. Just then a stomach was heard growing as Korra turned to see it was Tahno holding his stomach and trumpet.

"Sorry." He said as Korra shook her head and smiled. "Hey, why don't we go eat?" Baatar Jr said as he pointed at a nearby restaurant as Tahno and Wu nodded and made their way to the restaurant as Korra stayed behind. Korra got her guitar and looked at the message Asami wrote on her guitar "Always play from the heart love Asami."

She then started tuning her guitar and slowly started playing notes. While this was happening Asami was rereading the book that Korra gave her when they were younger. Just then she heard the strumming of a guitar as she placed her book down and sat up on her bed knowing who that person is playing the guitar. Korra who was now underneath her balcony started singing  while playing her guitar.

"I love you too much to leave without you loving me back. I love you too much, heaven's my witness and this is a fact." Korra sang as this caused Asami to smile before making her way to her balcony as she opened her doors and walked out looking over to try find Korra who was underneath the balcony. "I know I belong when I sing this song. There's love about love and it's ours. Cause I love you too much." Korra sang as she finally walked out from underneath the balcony as she faced Asami who was listening to her play.

"I live for your touch. I whisper your name night after night. I love you too much. There's only one feeling And I know it's right. I know I belong when I sing this song. There's love about love and it's ours cause I love you too much." Korra sang as Asami was smiling and enjoying her serenading her as couples that were nearby were walking and holding their loved ones close as Korra continued singing and playing.

"Heaven knows your name. I've been praying to have you come here by my side." Korra sang as Raava was watching, smiling as her chosen child was serenading Asami who was smiling. As Asami was busy watching and smiling at Korra singing for her she failed to notice Mako standing in her doorway to apologize for offending her but stopped as he heard Korra singing to her. "Without you a part of me's missing. Just to make you." Korra sang as Mako looked angrily before coming up with an idea as he left smiling, leaving Korra to serenade Asami.

"My whole I will fight. I love you too much." Korra sang as Wu,Tahno and Baatar exited the restaurant and saw Korra serenading Asami as Vaatu was mad that he might lose the wager. "I love you too much. Heaven's my witness and this is a fact." Korra sang, strumming her guitar as Baatar Jr, Tahno and Wu went on each other's shoulders and used their hats so Korra can be around the same level as Asami.

"You live in my soul, your heart is my goal." Korra sang as she was now on Wu's shoulders and was now facing Asami. " There's love above love and it's mine 'cause I love you. There's love above love and it's yours 'cause I love you. There's love above love and it's ours if you love me as much." Korra sang as she and Asami both started leaning in about to kiss each other as there were a centimeter away Asami used her finger to separate the kiss.

Asami chuckled as Korra was left confused. "Did you really think it was gonna be that easy." Asami said jokingly as Korra started losing balance and fell as Asami caught her guitar in the air. Korra fell as Wu fell on her and as did Tahno meanwhile Baatar was still standing. "Yeah I kinda did." Korra wheezed from the impact as Tahno and Wu crushed her.

"Korra." Asami said softly as she laughed. "Hang on, I'm coming." Asami said taking Korra's  guitar as she entered her room meanwhile Raava laughed as she knew she made a good choice in choosing Korra as her chosen one in the wager as she vanished.
