Third Person's POV,
Yuki laid sluggishly on their dorm's couch. She seems to not harbor any plan to move away from it and it's taking Bakugou's last strand of inexistent patience.
"Stand up or I'm going to tear you away from that damn couch, extra? Pick your freaking choice!" Now that he's not avoiding her again, Yuki comprehended that she doesn't want his attention.
She yawned, covering her mouth with her free hand. Really, today seems a lazy day for her.
She woke up late at 07:30, well it's late for their training and then after preparing, she then took a seat in the couch, cuddling it for like forever.
So it is not unexpected to witness a raging Bakugou entering the door at any moment. His rage is, well amplified, seeing her snoring on the couch upon his arrival.
"I told you we have to go!" He said pulling her away from her cozy cloud. Bakugou doesn't want this himself, teaming up with some lazy ass that is, but he was left with no choice since he needs the cooperation for their project to work. Aizawa wouldn't let him get away with it if he's going to work in the fight hogging all the action for himself, and he knows it.
"But it's holiday!" Yuki spat out incorrigible words as she screamed at Bakugou making the latter freeze. It's probably her lack of sleep acting up; it's making her grumpy and stupid.
"It's not a holiday today, you dumbass. Stop making excuses and follow me." Bakugou reining in his smoldering anger stated after recovering from his shock.
She didn't even flinch after all his efforts of playing nice.
"Suit yourself." He muttered those words quite harshly and left her alone as he went back to the gym. He locked the door knowing that his team was the only one scheduled for training on the timetables he picked.
"I don't need time for losers." He mouthed.
"If I have to force my way out of there, then I'll do it. Chances, Izuku would be the opponent."He was determined to win his battle so he's not going to waste his time anymore to an unmotivated ass.
Yuki wandered her gaze to the wall clock placed on top of their door, sighing.
'It's 08:25.'
Thirty minutes passed like a bullet train, and she's becoming more awake from her little nap, and more guilty about her unbecoming... behavior.
She stood up from the couch and went to the washroom to brush her teeth. In there, she started thinking about her previous actions and grimaced about it.
'How am I going to make it up to him?' she thought and messed her hair. 'He probably doesn't want to do anything with me now, knowing him he would-...' She added.
She washed her face after brushing and tied up her hair. She decided to try her luck and so she marched towards the location of the gym.
Yuki stride to the door but to her surprise, it was locked.
"Hey, Katsuki! Open up." She shouted but he's probably shunning her now.
She continued calling his name for a while and even knocked on the door so loud like she has never before.
In the end, she got tired while producing no result.
"This is bad." She muttered. " I might have angered the cat."
With that she decided to leave the fellow alone because... sometimes it's not good to strike the iron while it's hot... - her excuse.
To compensate for her tardiness, she decided to work on her own, she doesn't exactly know how, but she'll try. So that, for the next time they meet, she'll have the courage to face him.
Yuki walked for a few more minutes and stopped at the heart of a forest still located inside the academy.
It was already nine in the morning. Fortunately, she had brought with her a tumbler filled with water and of course her snacks.
She placed her items and her phone in the base if a tree she found nearby and sat a few inches in front of it.
She sat there for a while not making progress. Yeah... She's becoming more frustrated as the moment passed by.
Still, Yuki closed her eyes, sat in an indian seat, and try to imitate some training technique she saw from an anime she previously watched.
While at it, she thought about what she can do with her quirk for now. Well, she can atleast stop incoming attacks one at a time, well clumsily.
Like you know everytime she had training with the hothead she'd always end up covered in soot, yeah especially her face. One time she got mad, and wipe some soots in her hand to her partner's face just to get back. Yeah, you can say she's just as petty as him.
Well nevermind the unnecessary info, she could therefore conclude that, she can only focus at one thing. She breathed. 'If I can't do more advance things for now, then I should probably try increasing its effectivity, it'll make it easier and faster to stop the next ones.' she thought.
She kept her eyes shut and calmed her breathing. Her mind's now devoid of chaotic thoughts, she just sat there peacefully, like she had never done before.
For a while she feel and feel, waiting for some subtle changes in her surrounding, from the rustling of leaves, the chirping of birds, the heavy steps in the ground, and to the whispers of the wind. She observed and when the rustle once again comes, the emerging chance was not taken for granted, instead it was abused with no room for remorse.
Like a single drop of water and the vast body of ocean met with longing, she snapped her eyes opened as she activated her quirk. Her focus not dwindling even a bit stayed on the leaf frozen mid air as if time have stopped from counting.
Yuki didn't let out any emotion show in her face, contrary to what she would usually do, instead she stared captivated at the leaf, like it was some piece of emerald.
She's at it for a while, playing and pausing time as if it was some kind of stopwatch. She only stopped when she managed to paused ten leaves mid air at the same time. She decided to leave when she felt herself getting suffocated, so she stood up from where she sat and grabbed her items. She took a glance at her wrist watch and read 09:30. To say, she was surprised, was an understatement. She thought she had atleast stayed there for a good five hours.
Shaking the thought off her mind, she turned on her heels towards the entrance of the forest and once she's out she could feel herself breathing normally again.
She didn't realized how the forest seems to be alive again after she left, the wind started blowing making the leaves rustle beautifully in their branches. The ones frozen birds started flapping their wings again as they chirped and the heavy steps of a wild boar met again with the ground, its target missing. And all of this happened without her knowing. Even the difference between the forest skies inside and out have gone unnoticed.
