Three Months Later

"Baby! Have you seen my phone charger?," Yasmin called out. I smirk a bit at the action; my baby is always losing things.

"Baby it's here in the room on the counter." Yasmin comes into the room and shakes her head when she sees it on the counter.

"Of course it's here," Yasmin said while laughing a bit. Yasmin has been spending a lot of time at my place. At least 3-4 nights a week. I have been enjoying every second. Only thing is when I ask to take things to the next level, she retreats. She refuses to talk about it or acknowledge how I feel. I want to be with her. I want to make things official, but she does not. I can definitely sense that. It kind of hurts, but what else can I do? Just trying to be patient the best I can.

"You ready to head to work?," I asked.

"Yes baby all set. You good?," Yasmin asked.

"Yes let's go," I said. She smiles and we head downstairs. I grab our lunches that I packed and then we head out. Pretty much on the days she works at the club, we go in together. We get in my SUV and then we head out. Once we get to the club, I open up and we both go inside. We head to the office and I place our lunches in my fridge. I look at Yasmin and she smiles. She moves closer to me and kisses my lips.

"I'm going to do some inventory and gather a list of what needs to be ordered for the next few weeks. You need anything else from me?," Yasmin said. I look her up and down and lick my lips.

"Mmm you always being nasty. Save it for later baby. I'm trying to slurp you up on my first break," Yasmin said while winking.

"Always teasing me with a good time. But nah I'm good inventory would be helpful thank you." Yasmin nods her head and kisses my cheek before she exits my office. I sit down and look over a few papers on my desk. I pay a few bills also. After a bit more paperwork, I go out to the bar area. I see Yasmin behind the bar and she looks...off. I move a bit closer and notice she has a few tears running down her cheeks with her phone in her hand.

"Baby?," I called out. She gasps as she looks up at me. She wipes her face and puts her phone away.

"I'm sorry uh....here is the inventory list," Yasmin said while passing a list out to me. I take it and then look back at her.

"Yasmin what's wrong? Do you feel ok?," I asked with concern.

"I'm ok just going to go to the bathroom," Yasmin said quickly. She heads towards the bathroom and I watch her until she disappears. Something is going on, and I wish she would just tell me. I just want to be there for her the best way I can. I take the inventory list and head back to my office and order what is needed. Once that is done, I head back towards the bar. Yasmin isn't back yet. The dancers are starting to make their way in and I begin to greet them. Around 20 minutes later, Yasmin appears and makes her way towards the bar.

"You good?," I asked. She plasters a fake smile on her face and nods her head. I nod my head, but I know her. Something is wrong. She may not want to talk about it now or here, but a conversation will be had. I take care of a few things out front before I head to my office to get this day going.

Yasmin didn't even come see me at all during any of her breaks tonight. She didn't even want to eat dinner with me. I guess she just wanted to be alone and I can accept that. I'll offer to take her home if she doesn't want to spend the night at my place tonight. Even Nyla and Jaylen were wondering what was up with Yasmin and I didn't have any answers. Once all of the closing activities are complete and the safe is locked up, I head out towards the bar. I see Yasmin locking up the cash register and then she gathers her things. It's almost 4 am and I am exhausted.
