(A/N - Whenever a symbol like -~- plays it's typically a scene change, sometimes a swapped POV however I will make that clear by either only speaking in pronouns or stating the person's identity, sorry for any confusion this may cause. There is a present-day passage at the beginning of each era.)

[Continued] The ¶oached Era.
[FACT - Not all immortals ally with each other, for they are only human at the end of the day.]
Athena placed some plates of bread and cheese on the table, the conversation took some time to flow. "So, I just realized we still don't know your name," the blonde spoke.
"Luther" Luther said, "Ah, I see," Kyle replied.
Luther realized this would be his chance to pry for information, to see if Kyle and Athena had any ties to their lookalikes, Maybe the priests and pastors were right about reincarnation, that might make sense.
Anyways, back to prying. "So, how did you two meet?" Luther asked The blonde looked up from his plate before whispering "We met at the library near here, Thena was visiting on behalf of her family, while I was working there, and that was when we began talking, We were around maybe nineteen", Sensing Luther's next question, Kyle states "I'm Thirty, Thena is Twenty-nine".
Additionally, Luther asked why Kyle was always whispering, the blonde told him that was just how he speaks.
The conversation was soon ending as Athena got up, soon, the brunette began grabbing their plates, which no longer held food. (Luther only now realized he ate his.) "Well," Kyle said while taking a stretch "We should be able to leave now" He spoke,
Luther took a few extra minutes out of the room to get ready, he had to check something. He stepped into the bedroom, moving his hand to the back of his left boot, he peeled a bit of cloth off, revealing a small latch, to which he opened, revealing a hidden compartment, a small knife inside with a strangely shaped hole in the bottom.
He closed that latch, and placed the cloth back on, then Luther shifted to the right boot, applying the same steps as the left boot, only this time, the compartment held a small kit of lock-picking molds. Once he was sure he had his tools on him, Luther left the bedroom, into the cold outside air.

Perhaps it's because of Luther's (Formerly?) isolated life in the forest, but the gray of the walls might be the most colorful thing he's seen in months. Kyle and he walked through the streets of Clauddale, passing people in jackets, coats, and other garments, all dyed to blend in with the spring.
Luther worried his outfit was outclassed; he only wore a brown jacket that may be a little big for him.
Even Kyle's attire had outclassed him, he wore a jacket that Luther thought was leather colored a sort of blue-green, Luther could best describe it as matching his eyes. Luther also noticed the hat Kyle had put on while he was in the bedroom, a collage of gray and black squares that look to be sowed to a brown (Likely) leather hat, though Luther sucked at deducing materials.
Luther didn't think he stuck out, at least he hadn't seen anyone looking at him weirdly. However, he did notice that both he and Kyle were about two pieces of bread shorter than most of the crowd, Luther being just a bit taller than the blond.
They stopped at a few shops, only picking out a few things of food before heading away.
That is until something stuck out to Luther, it was a pendant, it was blue with yellow stripes, the edges slightly pushed out, yet not sharp, like a dull blade. The middle of the charm held a drawing of an open compass with a colored gem inside rather than a needle.
