Cassana has been protective of her family from a very young age since she knew she would be a big sister and continued when she saw her Father strike her Mother. She loves her family and is highly loyal to her blood and the friends she deems in that circle. On top of being loyal, she is also very stubborn, much to her parent's dismay. She can be headstrong and annoyingly clever when she wants and seems to outsmart even the most intelligent adult. When she was younger, she held those closest to her on a pedestal, but as she got older, she saw not only those around her but also the world for what it was: flawed. She loves her family with everything in her, but barring her siblings, she knows they are not as perfect as they appear to be. Her Father doesn't love her Mother or appreciate his title as King and the privilege he has. As for her Mother, she knows that her Mother hates her Father and that the only people she truly cares for are her children. In fact, as Cassana ages, she will find that the love she holds for herself and her sibling may be her only redeeming quality. Despite that, she loves them and sees the good in them as she does with her Uncles and Grandfather. Her Uncles can all be selfish and hateful. Her Uncle Jamie is overconfident and has an enormous ego, but she knows that he loves her and her siblings and would put aside praise for them.

Tyrion is kind, but he can be mean and sarcastic, and in the years to come, when people talk of Cassana, they will say that she rivals him in wit due to the bond they share. Her Grandfather is a cold man who is warm to very few people, with the only known one being Cassana at times. She knows of his orders to the mountain regarding Elia Martell and her children. She knows even more about his pride in his house and desire for power. He will use her, and when Cassana knew she was set to rule, she knew that many would try. As for her Uncles, Stannis and Renly, she knew they had flaws. Stannis is a second son denied of his birthright, and because of that, he is bitter; he holds anger towards her Father for naming their younger brother the lord of Stormsend and is infuriated at said younger brother for wasting his title. He is resentful of the misfortune of his daughter and wife. Despite Cassana's love for him, he is a hard man to get to know and to break through. As for Renly, when she was younger, she thought he was funny and kind, but as she grew, she started to see how he indeed was. She didn't care about who he loved or his choices in who he beds, but who he was, and it took her a long time to see who that was. 

When Cassana was younger, she believed the best in people, but as she got older, she found that people lie for the most idiotic reasons and kill for even more. She would not let those around her use her for their gain. As the saying goes, " When you play the Game of Thrones, you win, or you die." Cassana does not plan to die.
