Today has been a very long day. We spent the day actually working on the house. Painting and some gardening around the house. It's odd that we are doing this when we will be leaving. Kieran says that he has a good feeling about us staying here for, as he puts it, a while. Months he thinks. I doubt it. He has said this before and we are gone the next day. I want to stay here but I always want to stay wherever we are. I'll believe we are staying here when months pass.
One positive thing, Pernilla has put my lessons on hold until we get the house fixed up. She is having me use some of my magic to do certain things around the house, but working in Blood is not any part of it. Except for when Kieran accidentally cut himself. I healed him with ease.
Trixie is seems to be EXTREMELY happy. She is stirring up mischief all over. I laugh when I catch her. Like earlier today, Kieran and I were painting my room and Trixie came in and knocked over a small can of paint. She then proceeded to walk through it. My floor is wood, so now I have her paw prints across it and the paint splatter. I actually love it. I didn't like giving her a bath to get the paint off of her though.
It's the middle of the night again and I had another weird dream. This time though I wasn't surrounded by the group of people, but was in a room in expensive clothes and mask. It felt like a party. I did actually catch my reflection in a mirror that was on the wall. I had on a hood and a mask but I couldn't see my dress. What was so weird was that at one moment I was in that room with all those people to a dark hallway trying to find my way out.
Kieran just checked in on me. He said that he was going down stairs to make our nightly fire. I am in charge of getting the stuff for s'mores. It's funny how we do this almost every other night and yet he is still such a mystery to me. You would think I should know him inside and out, but he didn't really have much help in raising me. Pernilla kept me away from him as much as possible. I think she was trying to keep me girly so when and if I do become queen I don't act too much like a boy.
