It's amazing how six days can change everything. Kieran had seen a personal guard of the woman after me in town and made us move without grabbing anything but what could fit in a back pack.

That's exactly how my life has been. Always running. Never staying in one place for more than six months. In the recent years, I've always kept a bag ready. I only need to grab a few other things and then out the door.

I know it's not a good way to live but it's all I know. I don't have friends but that is fine. I don't think I would be able to have friends even if I wasn't on the run. I'm not like normal people. I also wouldn't have had a normal upbringing. I wouldn't have been sent to school like all the rest of the kids. I would have had tutors.

Pernilla has started to teach me about the government for us (I mean people like her, Kieran, and me.) Well I guess you wouldn't call it a government, it's actually a monarchy. Along with that she has been telling me that the king or queen isn't born from the same family but instead is chosen by the past kings and queens that have died. They look into every unborn child while they are in the womb and can see their personalities and then decide from there. It's all a little weird to hear because I've been going to a regular school. Being told that there isn't a secret society and also knowing that there is.

Pernilla is always teaching me about our society. She said that she was actually was an assistant tutor for the current king and then was chosen by him to travel with me. She misses her family and friends but to be here with me is so worth it because as she says is worth the adventure. Plus she likes teaching. I kinda wish I didn't have to be taught anything but what an actual school can.
